The grids of the atmospheric models (Fig. 2) differ from the grids of the ocean circulation 
model (Fig. 3). The spatial interpolation between the grids is carried out with a linear 
interpolation using triangles from the source grid and pre-calculated “barycentric 
coordinates” of locations within the triangles to estimate the values on array elements of 
the target grid.
