4.2.3.1 Determining set/actual deviations 
Set values from the current voyage plan are made available by Process 2.1.4. Furthermore, this proc 
ess models the transmission of voyage plan data to external data recipients, eg vessel traffic services or 
foreign vessels. Set values which serve to deal with unplanned Incidents or are received from external 
sources are made available via Process 2.1.5. It should be borne in mind that limits too are processed 
by the processes modelled here, along with the set and actual values. In particular here, limit values for 
set/actual deviations are compiled, these being of importance within the framework of automatic track 
control.
