Übersicht 
Die Eissituation hat sich seit gestern nicht wesentlich 
verändert. Weiterhin kommt es im gesamten Ostsee- 
‚aum zu Neueisbildung. 
Bottenwiek 
Finnische Küste: Die nördlichen inneren Schären 
sind mit 20-50 cm dickem Festeis bedeckt, daran 
anschließend kommt Neueis und Neueisbildung bis 
1ach Kemi-1 und Qulu-1. 5-20 cm dickes, sehr dich- 
:es Eis kommt bis etwa der Linie Malören — 12 sm 
westlich Ulkokalla vor. In den inneren Schären der 
südlichen Bottenwiek liegt 20-35 cm dickes Festeis. 
Weiter außerhalb treibt sehr dichtes 5-15 cm dickes 
Eis und Neueis. 
Schwedische Küste: In den Schären kommt 20-50 
cm dickes Festeis oder ebenes Eis vor. Entlang der 
_inie Skelleftea - Farstugrunden - Kemi 2 — Merikal- 
et - Nahkiainen liegt überwiegend 5-15 cm dickes 
ebenes Eis. Darin eingeschlossen sind stellenweise 
dickere Eisschollen. Daran anschließend liegt ein 
20-40 sm Streifen mit 10-25 cm dickem, sehr dich- 
tem, driftendem Eis. In der südlichen Bottenwiek 
kommt südlich von Bjuröklubb entlang der Küste 5- 
10 cm ebenes Eis vor, außerhalb davon treibt ein 
schmaler Streifen mit sehr dichtem Eis. 
Norra Kvarken 
in den Schären von Vaasa kommt 15-30 cm dickes 
Festeis und dünnes ebenes Eis vor. Weiter außer- 
ı1alb kommt 5-10 cm dickes sehr dichtes Eis, Neueis 
nd Neueisbildung vor. Nördlich von Nordvalen ist 
5-15 cm dickes, sehr dichtes Eis zu finden. Auf der 
schwedischen Seite westlich der Linie Holmögadd — 
Vaasa Leuchtturm liegt 10-20 cm dickes, dichtes 
nd Östlich davon sehr dichtes Eis. 
Overview 
The ice situation has not changed significantly 
since yesterday. Still, the ice formation continues in 
the entire Baltic Sea. 
Bay of Bothnia 
Finnish Coast: The northern inner archipelagos 
are covered by fast ice with a thickness of 20-50 
sm. Off the fast ice there is new ice and new ice 
formation out to about Oulu-1 and Kemi-1. 5-20cm 
thick, very close ice is found up to about the line 
Malören —- 12 nm west of Ulkokalla. In the inner ar- 
chipelagos of the southern Bay of Bothnia there is 
20-35 cm thick fast ice. Farther out there is drifting 
zlose ice, 5-15 cm thick, and new ice. 
Swedish Coast: In the archipelagos there is 20-50 
cm thick level or fast ice. At the line Skelleftea — 
Farstugrunden - Kemi 2 — Merikallet — Nahkiainen 
mostly 5-15 cm thick level ice can be found. Within 
Ihis ice there are some heavier ice floes at places. 
After that there is a 20-40 nm wide area with 10-25 
2m very close drift ice. In the southern Bay of Both- 
nia, south of Bjuröklubb, there is 5-10 cm ice along 
the coast, outside there is a narrow band of very 
close ice. 
Norra Kvarken 
In the Vaasa archipelagos 15-30 cm thick fast ice 
ar thin level ice occurs. Further out there is 5-10 cm 
thick very close ice, new ice and new ice formation 
:s found. North of Nordvalen, there is 5-15 cm thick, 
very close ice. Along the Swedish coast west of the 
line Holmögadd — Vaasa lighthouse there is 10-20 
cm thick, close ice and east of it, there is very close 
ce.
