Litauische Küste: Im Hafen von Klaipeda und in 
der Hafeneinfahrt kommt offenes Wasser vor. Im 
Kurischen Haff ist zusammenhängendes Packeis 
zu finden. 
Polnische Küste: Das Stettiner Haff ist mit 5-10 cm 
dickem sehr dichtem Eis bedeckt, im Fahrwasser 
treibt 5-10 cm dickes Eis. Im Stettiner und im Svi- 
ı1emünder Hafen kommt jeweils 5 cm dickes, sehr 
ockeres Eis vor. Im Weichsel-Haff liegt bei Tolk- 
nicko Festeis mit einer Dicke von 18 cm. Die Putzi- 
ger Wiek ist mit kompakten Eis bedeckt. 
Skagerrak, Kattegat und Öresund 
Norwegische Küste: Im Oslofjord liegt bei Moss 
Jnd bei Drammen kompaktes Packeis mit einer Di- 
cke von 5-10 cm durch das eine Rinne führt. In ge- 
schützten Bereichen bildet sich Neueis. Im Svine- 
sund ist wenig Eis im offenen Wasser zu finden. 
Lithuanian Coast: In the port of Klaipeda and in 
the entrances to the port there is open water. In the 
Curonian Lagoon, consolidated pack ice occurs. 
Polish Coast: In the firth of Szczecin there is 5-10 
cm thick fast ice, within the fairway there is 5-10 cm 
thick drifting ice. In the ports of Szczecin and 
Swinoujscie there is 5 cm thick very open ice. In 
Ihe Vistula Lagoon next to Tolkmicko there is 18 
cm fast ice. The Bay of Puck is covered by com- 
pact ice. 
Skagerrak, Kattegat and Öresund 
Norwegian Coast: In the Oslofjord there is com- 
vact pack ice with a thickness of 5-10 cm close to 
Moss and Drammen. There is a lead along the fast 
ce edge. In sheltered areas there is thin new ice. 
in the Svinesund there is little ice in the open wa- 
ter. 
Voraussichtliche Eisentwicklung 
In den kommenden Tagen herrscht im nördlichen 
ind zentralem Ostseeraum mäßiger bis strenger, 
teilweise sogar sehr strenger Frost. Dort wird sich 
die Eisbildung fortsetzen. Im südlichem Ostseeraum 
iegen die Temperaturen meist um dem 
Gefrierpunkt, mit leicht sinkenden Temperaturen am 
Wochenende. Die Eissituation wird sich daher nicht 
sehr stark verändern 
Expected Ice Development 
Over the next days, moderate to severe, partly very 
severe frost will dominate the weather situation in 
the northern and central Baltic Sea regions. Ice 
formation will continue there. In the southern 
*egions of the Baltic Sea, temperatures are mostly 
around the freezing point with slightly lower 
temperature towards the weekend. Therefore the 
ice situation is not expected to change significantly 
there.
