Finnischer Meerbusen
Saimaa: Im nördlichen Saimaa See liegt 10-25 cm
dickes, morsches Eis. Stellenweise kommt auch
offenes Wasser vor.
Gulf of Finland
Saimaa: In the northern Lake Saimaa 10-25 cm
thick, rotten ice can be found as well as open water
in places.
Voraussichtliche Eisentwicklung
Expected Ice Development
Over the next days, temperatures will rise up to
8°C in the Bay of Bothnia. The wind blows partly
strong from north-easterly directions today, so that
the remaining ice will drift towards the western
coasts. Over the weekend the wind will decrease.
Overall the ice will continue to loosen up and
decrease.
