Saimaa: Im nördlichen Saimaa See liegt 10-25 cm 
dickes, morsches Eis. Stellenweise kommt auch 
offenes Wasser vor. 
Gulf of Finland 
Saimaa: In the northern Lake Saimaa 10-25 cm 
thick, rotten ice can be found as well as open water 
in places. 
Voraussichtliche Eisentwicklung 
Bei Tagestemperaturen von bis zu 8°C wird das Eis 
.n der Bottenwiek weiter tauen. Der Wind weht meist 
schwach bis mäßig aus Östlichen Richtungen und 
wird das Eis Richtung westlicher Küste treiben. 
Expected Ice Development 
With temperatures of up to 8°C the ice in the Bay of 
Bothnia will underlie further melting. The wind 
blows mostly light to moderate from easterly 
directions so that the remaining ice will drift towards 
the western coasts.

report their nationality, name, port of destination, ETA and speed to ICE INFO on VHF channel 84. This re- 
port can also be given directly by phone +46 31 699 100. 
icebreaker: KONTIO and OTSO assist in the Bay of Bothnia. ISO-PUKKI assists in the northern Lake 
Saimaa. 
Sweden 
Vessels bound for ports with traffic restrictions in Gulf of Bothnia shall, when passing Svenska Bjorn (59° 
33'N 20° 01'E) report to ICEINFO on VHF channel 84; Stating ATP, destination and ETA.
