Finnische Küste: In den inneren Schären liegt mor-

Schwedische Küste: Entlang der Küste liegt in ge-
schützten Bereichen im Norden 20-40 cm und im
Süden 10-30 cm dickes, morsch werdendes Eis. Der
obere Teil des Ängermanälven ist mit 20-40 cm di-
ckem, morsch werdendem Eis bedeckt.
Schärenmeer
Finnische Küste: In den inneren Schären kommt
stellenweise morsches Eis vor.
Finnischer Meerbusen
Finnische Küste: In den inneren Schären kommt im
Westen morsches und im Osten 10-30 cm dickes
nd morsch werdendes Festeis vor.
Russische Küste: Die Wyborg Bucht ist an ihrem
Ende mit 15-25 cm dickem Festeis bedeckt. In der
Einfahrt kommt sehr dichtes, 10-15 cm dickes Treib-
eis vor. Im Bjerkesund treibt 10-15 cm dickes, dich-
tes Eis.
Sea of Bothnia
Finnish Coast: In the inner archipelagos there is
rotten fast ice.
Swedish coast: Along the coast in sheltered are-
as, there is 20-40 cm thick and rottening ice in the
north and 10-30 cm thick, rottening ice in the south.
The upper part of the Angermanälven is covered by
20-40 cm thick rottening ice.
Archipelago Sea
Finnish Coast: In the inner archipelago there is
rotten ice in places.
Gulf of Finland
Finnish Coast: In the inner archipelagos rotten
fast ice occurs in the western and 10-30 cm thick
rottening fast ice in the eastern part.
Russian Coast: The top of the Vyborg Bay is cov-
ered by 15-25 cm thick fast ice and the entrance by
10-15 cm thick very close ice. In the Strait Bjerke-
sund, 10-15 cm thick close drift ice is found.
Mittlere und Nördliche Ostsee
Mälarsee: Es treten morsches Eis und offenes
Wasser auf.
Central and Northern Baltic
Lake Mälaren: There rotten ice and open water
are present.
Voraussichtliche Eisentwicklung
Bei Temperaturen bis zu 8°C wird das Eis im
Finnischen Meerbusen weiter abschmelzen. In der
Bottenwiek liegen die Temperaturen meist bei 0-
2°C, in der Bottensee steigen sie bis zu 6°C an.
Daher wird sich der Eisrückgang auch in diesen
Regionen leicht bis mäßig stark fortsetzen.

Expected Ice Development
With temperatures of up to 8°C, the ice will further
melt in the Gulf of Finland. In the Bay of Bothnia,
temperatures vary between 0°C and 2°C, in the
Sea of Bothnia they will rise up to 6°C. Hence, the
ice retreat will continue lightly to moderately also in
these regions.
