Voraussichtliche Eisentwicklung 
Jber das Wochenende hinaus werden im nördlichen 
Jnd östlichen Bereich der Ostsee eher nordwestliche 
Ninde erwartet, mit Temperaturen, von etwa -10°C 
n der Bottenwiek und um die -5°C im Finnischen 
Meerbusen. Es wird sich wohl etwas Neueis bilden, 
Jnd das Eis driftet in Richtung Süd/Südosten. In der 
Jbrigen Ostsee bleiben die Temperaturen aber meist 
ber 0°C. 
Zxpected Ice Development 
'n the northern and eastern part of the Baltic Sea 
‘egion northwesterly wind are expected over the 
weekend, with temperatures around -10°C in the 
Bay of Bothnia and around -5°C in the Gulf of 
Finland. Some new ice formation will occur and the 
ce will drift in south/southeasterly direction. In 
other regions the air temperatures will stay mostly 
around and above zero.

Estonia 
icebreaker: EVA-316 assists in the port of Pärnu. 
Finland 
The Saimaa Canal is closed for traffic. 
Vessels bound for Gulf of Bothnia ports in which traffic restrictions apply shall, when passing Svenska Björn, 
‘‚eport their nationality, name, port of destination, ETA and speed to ICE INFO on VHF channel 84. This re- 
port can also be given directly by phone +46 31 699 100. 
icebreaker: KONTIO, OTSO, FREJ and NORDICA assist in the Bay of Bothnia. In the Gulf of Finland con- 
tracted tugboats assist as needed.

Vyborg: Tow boat-barges are not assisted. Vessels without ice class may navigate with icebreaker assis- 
tance only (from 12" of January).
