Voraussichtliche Eisentwicklung 
Ab morgen bis übers Wochenende hinaus werden 
m nördlichen und östlichen Bereich der Ostsee eher 
1ordwestliche Winde erwartet, mit Temperaturen, 
von etwa -10°C in der Bottenwiek und um die -5°C 
m Finnischen Meerbusen. Es wird sich wohl etwas 
NVeueis bilden, und das Eis driftet in Richtung 
Südosten. In der übrigen Ostsee bleiben die 
Temperaturen aber meist über 0°C. 
Zxpected Ice Development 
In the northern and eastern part of the Baltic Sea 
region it is expected from tomorrow until pass the 
weekend, that the wind comes out of the Northwest 
and temperatures stay around -10°C in the Bay of 
Bothnia and around -5°C in the Gulf of Finland. 
Some new ice formation will occur and the ice will 
drift in southeasterly direction. In other regions the 
air temperatures will stay mostly around and above 
zero.

Estonia 
icebreaker: EVA-316 assists in the port of Pärnu 
Finland 
The Saimaa Canal is closed for traffic. 
Vessels bound for Gulf of Bothnia ports in which traffic restrictions apply shall, when passing Svenska Björn, 
‘‚eport their nationality, name, port of destination, ETA and speed to ICE INFO on VHF channel 84. This re- 
port can also be given directly by phone +46 31 699 100. 
icebreaker: KONTIO, OTSO, FREJ and NORDICA assist in the Bay of Bothnia. In the Gulf of Finland con- 
tracted tugboats assist as needed. 
Russia 
Vyborg: Tow boat-barges are not assisted. Vessels without ice class may navigate with icebreaker assis- 
:ance only (from 12° of January). 
Vysotsk: Tow boat-barges are not assisted. Vessels without ice class may navigate with icebreaker assis-

Vessels bound for ports with traffic restrictions in Gulf of Bothnia shall, when passing Svenska Bjorn (59° 
33'N 20° 01'E) report to ICEINFO on VHF channel 84; Stating ATP, destination and ETA.
