Mälarsee: Im Westteil liegt 10-20 cm dickes, sehr 
dichtes Eis, im Osten kommt morsches Eis vor. 
Lake Mälaren: In the western part there is 10-20 
cm thick, very close ice; rotten ice is present in the 
eastern part. 
Voraussichtliche Eisentwicklung 
Bis Donnerstag bleiben, bei meist westlichen 
Winden, die Temperaturen meist um oder über Null, 
auch in der Bottenwiek. Dann dreht im Norden der 
Wind auf Nord und es wird wieder kälter, die 
Temperaturen fallen bis zum Wochenend auf etwa 
10°C in der Bottenwiek und auf etwa -5°cC im 
Finnischen Meerbusen. In der übrigen Ostsee 
bleiben die Temperaturen aber auch dann meist 
über 0°C. Insgesamt betrachtet wird daher keine 
große Anderung in der Eislage erwartet. 
Expected Ice Development 
Until Thursday the temperatures will stay mostly 
around and above zero, even up the Bay of 
Bothnia. The winds will come mostly from the west. 
On Thursday the wind in the northern and eastern 
regions will veer towards north, bringing colder 
'emperatures, with temperatures dropping to about 
-10°C in the Bay of Bothnia and to -5°C in the Gulf 
of Finland towards the weekend. In other regions 
the air temperatures will stay mostly around and 
above zero. Therefore no substantial changes in 
the general ice situation are expected.
