:ockeres Treibeis. Nördlich von Bonden-Nordvalen- 
Nord Ritgrund ist sehr dichtes, 10-35 cm dickes 
Treibeis zu finden. Südlich davon kommt sehr locke- 
‚es Eis oder offenes Wasser vor. 
Bottensee 
Finnische Küste: In den Schären liegt 20-35 cm 
dickes Festeis. Außerhalb davon kommt stellenweise 
dünnes, sehr lockeres Eis vor. 
Schwedische Küste: Entlang der nördlichen Küste 
kommt in geschützten Bereichen 10-30 cm dickes 
Festeis oder sehr dichtes Eis vor. Im Süden kommt 
dünnes, dichtes Eis vor. Der Ängermanälven ist mit 
20-40 cm dickem Festeis oder sehr dichtem Eis be- 
deckt. 
Schärenmeer 
Finnische Küste: In den inneren Schären kommt 
stellenweise dünnes Eis vor. Im Fahrwasser ist 
Überwiegend offenes Wasser zu finden. 
Schwedische Küste: Dünnes, lockeres oder dichtes 
Eis liegt entlang der Küste.

Archipelago Sea 
Finnish Coast: In the inner archipelago there is 
thin ice in places. In the fairways mostly open water 
can be found. 
Swedish coast: Thin open or close ice occurs 
along the coast. 
Finnischer Meerbusen 
Finnische Küste: In den inneren Schären kommt im 
Westen dünnes und im Osten 15-35 cm dickes 
Festeis vor. In den äußeren Schären kommt im Wes- 
ten überwiegend offenes Wasser vor, im Osten liegt 
vor Hamina stellenweise 5-20 cm dickes, dichtes Eis. 
Russische Küste: Die Häfen von St. Petersburg 
sind bis zur Insel Kotlin mit 15-30 cm dickem, sehr 
dichtem und zum Teil aufgetürmten Treibeis bedeckt. 
Anschließend folgt bis zum Leuchtturm Krasnaya 
Gorka 10-20 cm dickes, sehr dichtes Eis, gefolgt von 
dichtem, 10-15 cm dickem Eis bis zum Leuchtturm 
Shepelevskij. Die Wyborg Bucht ist mit 20-30 cm 
dickem Festeis bedeckt. In der Einfahrt liegt sehr 
dichtes Treibeis, 10-20 cm dick. Im Bjerkesund liegt 
15-25 cm dickes, sehr dichtes Treibeis. Die Einfahrt 
ist mit dichtem, 10-15 cm dickem Treibeis bedeckt. 
Gulf of Finland 
Finnish Coast: In the inner archipelagos thin fast 
ice occurs in the western and 15-35 cm thick fast 
ice in the eastern part. In the outer archipelagos 
there is mostly open water in the west and in the 
sast, there is in front of Hamina 5-20 cm thick close 
ice in places. 
Russian Coast: The harbours of St. Petersburg 
are covered by 15-30 cm thick very close and partly 
hummocked drift ice up to the island Kotlin. Off this 
ice, there is 10-20 cm thick very close ice up to the 
lighthouse Krasnaya Gorka followed by 10-15 cm 
thick close ice up to the lighthouse Shepelevskij. 
Ihe Vyborg Bay is covered by 20-30 cm thick fast 
ice. In the entrance to the bay, there is very close, 
‘0-20 cm thick drift ice. In the Strait Bjerkesund, 
15-25 cm thick very close drift ice is found. In the 
entrance, 10-15 cm thick, close drift ice is present. 
Rigaischer Meerbusen 
Estnische Küste: In der Pärnubucht liegt 10-15 cm 
dickes Festeis. Danach folgt bis Liu-Voiste dichtes 
bis sehr dichtes Treibeis. Im Fahrwasser ist bis Ki- 
ınu-Häädermeeste lockeres Treibeis und offenes 
Wasser zu finden. Nahe der östlichen Küste vom 
Moonsund kommt von Vormsi bis zur Topu-Bucht 
stellenweise lockeres und dichtes Treibeis vor. Wei- 
ter westlich ist offenes Wasser zu finden. 
Mittlere und Nördliche Ostsee 
Mälarsee: Im Westteil liegt 10-20 cm dickes, sehr 
dichtes Eis, im Osten kommt dünnes dichtes Eis 
vor. 
Gulf of Riga 
Estonian Coast: In the Pärnu Bay there is 10-15 
sm thick fast ice. Further up to Liu-Voiste close to 
very close drift ice is present. Further on in the 
’airway there is open drift ice and open water up to 
Kihnu- Häädemeeste. Near the eastern coast of 
Moonsund, locally open and close drift ice occurs 
from Vormsi Island up to the Topu Bay. Further on 
westward open water can be found. 
Central and Northern Baltic 
Lake Mälaren: In the western part there is 10-20 
cm thick, very close ice; thin close ice is present in 
the eastern part. 
Skagerrak, Kattegat, Belts and Sound 
Norwegian Coast: In the Svinesund there is open 
water. In the Mossesund 5-10 cm thick, close pack 
ice is present. In the ports of Oslofjord open to 
Skagerrak, Kattegat, Belte und Sund 
Norwegische Küste: Im Svinesund kommt offenes 
Wasser vor. Im Mossesund liegt dichtes, 5-10 cm
