Vänersee: Im nördlichen Teil kommt 5-15 cm di- 
ckes, dichtes Eis und Neueis vor. 
Western and Southern Baltic 
Lake Vanern: In the north there is 5-15 cm thick 
close ice and new ice. 
Skagerrak, Kattegat, Belte und Sund 
Norwegische Küste: Im Svinesund kommt offenes 
Wasser vor. Im Mossesund liegt dichtes, 5-10 cm 
dickes Packeis. In den Häfen von Oslo ist lockeres 
bis dichtes Packeis mit einer Dicke von weniger als 
5 cm und Neueis zu finden. In Drammensfjord 
kommt bis zu 5 cm dickes, sehr lockeres Packeis 
ind Neueis vor. Bei Tensberg und im Sandefjord 
iegt stellenweise sehr lockeres, 5-10 cm dickes Eis. 
3ei Larvik ist Neueis zu finden. In geschützten Be- 
‚eichen der Kragero-Region liegt 15-30 cm dickes 
Festeis. Um Arendal kommt stellenweise sehr locke- 
es Packeis vor. 
Skagerrak, Kattegat, Belts and Sound 
Norwegian Coast: In the Svinesund there is open 
water. In the Mossesund 5-10 cm thick, close pack 
ice is present. In the ports of Oslofjord open to 
2lose pack ice with a thickness of less than 5 cm 
and new ice occur. In the Drammensfjord up to 5 
cm thick very open pack ice and new ice can be 
found. Around Tensberg and in the Sandefjord 
here is very open, 5-10 cm thick ice in places. 
Around Larvik new ice is present. In sheltered are- 
as of the Kragero region 15-30 cm thick fast ice is 
present. In the Arendal region very open pack ice 
occurs in places. 
Voraussichtliche Eisentwicklung 
Im Bottnischen und Finnischen Meerbusen herrscht 
bis morgen meist leichter bis mäßiger Frost. Ab 
Freitag steigen die Temperaturen im Finnischen 
Meerbusen tagsüber über den Gefrierpunkt. Im 
3ottnischen Meerbusen gibt es in der Bottenwiek 
ınd örtlich nahe der Küste noch leichten Frost. 
Südlich vom Rigaischen Meerbusen und der 
zentralen Ostsee gibt es nur Örlich noch sehr 
eichten Frost über Nacht. Ab Montag steigen die 
Temperaturen tagüber fast Überall über den 
Gefrierpunkt. Der Wind weht in den kommenden 
Tagen überwiegend aus östlicher Richtung, meist 
eicht bis mäßig, ab Sonntag örtlich auch stark. In 
der Bottenwiek, in Norra Kvarken und in Teilen der 
Bottensee, sowie im finnischen Meerbusen ist 
zunächst noch mit etwas Neueisbildung zu rechnen. 
Expected Ice Development 
In the Gulf of Bothnia and the Gulf of Finland there 
will be mostly light to moderate frost until tomorrow. 
From Friday on, temperatures will rise above the 
freezing point in the Gulf of Finland over day. In the 
Gulf of Bothnia, there will be light frost only in the 
Bay of Bothnia and in places close to the coasts. 
South of the Gulf of Riga and the central Baltic Sea 
there will be very light frost only in places during 
the nights. From Monday on, temperatures will rise 
above the freezing point nearly everywhere over 
day. The wind will mostly blow from eastern 
directions and will be light to moderate, from 
Sunday on also strong in places. New ice formation 
ıs at first likely in the Bay of Bothnia, Norra Kvarken 
and in places of the Sea of Bothnia, as well as in 
the Gulf of Finland.
