Leuchtturm Tolbuhin ist sehr dichtes, übereinander
geschobenes 5-15 cm dickes Eis zu finden. Abseits
davon, bis zur Höhe Cape Seraya, kommt lockeres
Eis vor. Die Wyborg Bucht ist mit 5-15 cm konsoli-
diertem ebenen Eis bedeckt. Im Bjerkesund hat sich
Neueis gebildet.
Rigaischer Meerbusen
Estnische Küste: In der Pärnubucht ist ein schma-
‚er Gürtel aus Festeis, dahinter sind Neueis und
Nilas zu finden. Im Moonsund kommen Neueis und
bis zu 8 cm dicke Nilas vor.
Lettische Küste: Im Hafen von Riga hat sich dich-
ies Neueis und Matscheis gebildet. Das Fahrwasser
Hafen von Riga - Irbenstraße ist eisfrei.
Westliche und Südliche Ostsee
Litauische Küste: Im Hafen von Klaipeda kommt
ockeres Packeis vor. Im Kurischen Haff tritt eben-
falls Packeis auf.
Voraussichtliche Eisentwicklung
In den kommenden Tagen bleiben die Temperaturen
m gesamten Ostseeraum unter dem Gefrierpunkt.
im nördlichen und östlichen Ostseeraum gibt es
strengen bis sehr strengen Frost; die Neueisbildung
wird sich dort fortsetzen. In der Bottenwiek ist mit
Eisdrift nach Nord-West bis West zu rechnen. Im
südlichem Ostseeraum gibt es leichten bis mäßigen
Frost. Es wird hier in geschützen Bereichen und
flachen Gewässern zu Neueisbildung kommen.

slash ice has formed. The fairway Port of Riga-
Irben Strait is ice free.
Western and Southern Baltic
Lithuanian Coast: In the port of Klaipeda there is
open pack ice. In the Curonian Lagoon, consolidat-
ed pack ice occurs.
Expected Ice Development
Over the next days, temperatures will remain below
the freezing point over the entire Baltic Sea. In the
northern and eastern parts there will be severe to
very severe frost; new ice formation will continue.
In the Bay of Bothnia, ice drift to north-west to west
can be expected. In the southern parts of the Baltic
Sea, light to moderate frost will dominate. In
sheltered bays and shallow waters new ice
formation can be expected.
