Norwegische Küste: Im Svinesund kommt offenes
Wasser vor. Im Mossesund liegt dichtes, 5-10 cm
dickes Packeis. In den Häfen von Oslo ist überwie-
gend Eis mit einer Dicke von weniger als 5 cm zu
äinden. In Drammensfjord kommt bis zu 5 cm dickes,
ockeres Packeis und Neueis vor. Bei Tansberg und
m Sandefjord liegt stellenweise sehr lockeres, 5-10
cm dickes Eis. Bei Larvik ist Neueis zu finden. Bei
Kragerg gibt es örtlich Neueis, in geschützten Berei-
chen auch 15-30 cm dickes Festeis. Um Arendal
kommt stellenweise sehr lockeres Packeis vor.
Voraussichtliche Eisentwicklung
Das Tiefdrucksystem über Skandinavien lenkt kalte
polare Luft in den nördlichen Ostseeraum. Im
3ottnischem und Finnischen Meerbusen herrscht
auch in den kommenden Tagen meist leichter bis
näßiger, örtlich auch strenger Frost. Südlich vom
ARigischen Meerbusen und der nördlichen/zentralen
Ostsee liegen die Temperaturen nachts um und
:agsüber leicht über dem Gefrierpunkt. Der Wind
weht meist leicht bis mäßig überwiegend aus
westlichen Richtungen. In der Bottenwiek, in Norra
Avarken und in Teilen der Bottensee, sowie im
iinnischen Meerbusen kann es in den nächsten
Tagen zu Neueisbildung kommen.

Norwegian Coast: In the Svinesund there is open
water. In the Mossesund 5-10 cm thick, close pack
ice is present. In the ports of Oslofjord there is
mainly less than 5 cm thick ice. In the Dram-
mensfjord up to 5 cm thick open pack ice and new
ice can be found. Around Tensberg and in the
Sandefjord there is very open, 5-10 cm thick ice in
places. Around Larvik new ice is present. In the
Kragero region new ice occurs in places, in shel-
tered areas also 15-30 cm thick fast ice. In the Ar-
andal region very open pack ice occurs in places.
Expected Ice Development
The low pressure system over Scandinavia drives
cold polar air masses into the northern areas of the
Baltic Sea. In the Gulf of Bothnia and the Gulf of
Finland there will be mostly light to moderate, in
Dlaces also severe frost. South of the Gulf of Riga
and the northern/central Baltic Sea temperatures
will vary around the freezing point during night and
will be slightly above during the days. The wind
blows mostly light to moderate predominantly from
westward directions. In the Bay of Bothnia, Norra
Kvarken and in places of the Sea of Bothnia, as
well as in the Gulf of Finland, new ice may form in
the coming days.
