ger als 5 cm zu finden. In Drammensfjord kommt bis 
zu 5 cm dickes, lockeres Packeis und Neueis vor. 
3ei Tansberg und im Sandefjord liegt stellenweise 
sehr lockeres, 5-10 cm dickes Eis. Bei Larvik hat 
sich Neueis gebildet. Bei Krager@ gibt es örtlich 
\Veueis, in geschützten Bereichen auch 15-30 cm 
dickes Festeis. Um Arendal kommt stellenweise sehr 
'ockeres Packeis vor.

open pack ice occurs in places. 
Voraussichtliche Eisentwicklung 
Das Tiefdrucksystem über Skandinavien lenkt kalte 
polare Luft in den nördlichen Ostseeraum. Im 
3ottnischem und Finnischen Meerbusen herrscht in 
den kommenden Tagen meist leichter bis mäßiger 
Frost, nur örtlich steigen die Temperaturen leicht 
ber den Gerfrierpunkt. Weiter südlich ist es am 
Anfang der Woche mild, zur Wochenmitte fallen die 
Temperaturen etwas und liegen dann vor allem 
ı1achts um oder leicht über dem Gefrierpunkt. Der 
Wind weht meist leicht bis mäßig aus wechselnden 
Richtungen. Eine signifikante Veränderung der 
Eisbedingungen ist daher in den kommenden Tagen 
aicht zu erwarten.

The low pressure system over Scandinavia drives 
sold polar air masses into the northern areas of the 
Baltic Sea. In the Gulf of Bothnia and the Gulf of 
Finland there will be mostly light to moderate frost. 
Only in places there will be temperatures slightly 
above the freezing point. Further south, it will be 
Mild in the beginning of the week. Towards 
nidweek, temperatures will decrease and will vary 
around the freezing point then, in particular during 
the night. The wind blows mostly light to moderate 
from varying directions. Hence, a significant 
change in the ice situation is not expected over the 
coming days.
