Kurischen Haffs liegt dichtes Packeis. 
Mälarsee: Im Westteil liegt 10-20 cm dickes, 
dichtes Eis, im Osten kommt dünnes dichtes Eis 
oder offenes Wasser vor. 
Westliche und Südliche Ostsee 
Vänersee: Im nördlichen Teil kommt 5-15 cm di- 
ckes, dichtes Eis und Neueis vor. 
Skagerrak, Kattegat, Belte und Sund 
Norwegische Küste: In geschützten Bereichen 
kann örtlich Eis vorkommen. 
Voraussichtliche Eisentwicklung 
3is Samstag morgen kann es bis hin zur südlichen 
Ostsee immer wieder leichten, in den nördlichen 
Regionen auch mäßigen Frost geben. Im Laufe des 
Samstags ziehen die kalten Luftmassen Richtung 
Nord-Osten ab, dann wird es nur noch örtlich im 
3ottnischen Meerbusen leichten Frost geben. Der 
Wind weht teilweise starkt bis stürmisch aus 
Überwiegend südlichen Richtungen. Bei 
Temperaturen um den Gefriepunkt wird es kaum zu 
\eueisbildung kommen. Der Wind wird das Eis an 
den nördlichen Küsten aufpressen.

Lake Mälaren: In the western part there is 10-20 
cm thick, close ice; thin close ice or open water is 
present in the eastern part. 
Western and Southern Baltic 
Lake Vanern: In the north there is 5-15 cm thick 
close ice and new ice. 
Skagerrak, Kattegat, Belts and Sound 
Norwegian Coast: In sheltered areas ice may 0c- 
cur in places. 
Expected Ice Development 
Until Saturday morning, there may be light frost up 
to the southern Baltic Sea. In the northern regions 
moderate frost is possible. On Saturday, the cold 
air masses will propagate towards the north east 
over the course of the day. Then, frost will only 
accur in places on the Gulf of Bothnia. The wind 
blows mainly from southern directions, partly strong 
to rough. With the temperatures varying around the 
freezing point, there will be rarely new ice 
formation. The wind will push the ice against the 
northern coasts.
