Westliche und Südliche Ostsee 
Vännersee: Im nördlichen Teil kommt 5-15 cm 
dickes, dichtes Eis vor, sonst überwiegend eisfrei. 
Polnische Küste: Im Weichsel-Haff kommt stellen- 
weise noch Eis vor. 
Skagerrak, Kattegat, Belte und Sund 
Norwegische Küste: Im Hafen von Oslo kommt 
örtlich 5-10 cm dickes, teilweise sehr dichtes Eis vor. 
Im Drammensfjord kommt 5-10 cm dickes, lockeres 
Eis vor. Im Mossesund liegt 5-10 cm dickes, dichtes 
Eis. Bei Tonsberg kommt meist 5-30 cm dickes 
Festeis vor. In Sandefjord ist sehr lockeres Eis, 5-10 
cm dick, zu finden. Bei Kragerg gibt es örtlich graues 
Eis und Festeis, 10-30 cm dick. Um Arendal kommt 
stellenweise sehr lockeres Packeis vor. 
Western and Southern Baltic 
Lake Vanern: In the north there is 5-15 cm thick 
close ice. Else the lake is mostly ice free. 
Polish Coast: In the Vistula Lagoon there is some 
ice in places. 
Skagerrak, Kattegat, Belts and Sound 
Norwegian Coast: In the port of Oslo there is open 
water or up to 5-10 cm thick very close ice in plac- 
as. In the Drammensfjord there is 5-10 cm thick, 
apen ice. In the Mossesund there is 5-10 cm thick, 
slose ice. Around Tonsberg there is mostly 5-30 cm 
thick fast ice. In Sandefjord there is 5-10 cm thick 
‘ce. In the Kragero region there is grey ice and fast 
ice in places, up to 10-30 cm thick. In the Arendal 
region there is very open pack ice in places. 
Expected Ice Development 
Today it will remain mild in the entire Baltic Sea 
area with temperatures mostly around or slightly 
above the freezing point. Over the weekend 
temperatures are expected to decrease in most 
regions. In the Bay of Bothnia permanent, light to 
moderate frost is expected in most regions. In the 
Gulfs of Finland and Riga, there may be light frost 
during the night. Over the weekend new ice may 
form in the Bay of Bothnia. Else, there are no 
significant changes expected. 
Voraussichtliche Eisentwicklung 
Ädeute bleibt es im gesamten Ostseeraum noch mild 
nit Temperaturen um oder leicht über dem 
Gefrierpunkt. Zum Wochenende hin fallen die 
Temperaturen vielerorts. In der Bottenwiek gibt es 
dann in den meisten Gebieten ganztägig leichten bis 
näßigen Frost. Im Finnischen und Rigaischen 
Meerbusen kann es nachts leichten Frost geben. 
Am Wochenende kann es in der Bottenwiek zur 
Neueisbildung kommen. Ansonsten wird sich die 
Eissituation nicht signifikant verändern.
