icebreaker: EVA-316 assists in the port of Pärnu
Finland
The Saimaa Canal is closed for traffic.
Vessels bound for Gulf of Bothnia ports in which traffic restrictions apply shall, when passing Svenska Björn,
‚eport their nationality, name, port of destination, ETA and speed to ICE INFO on VHF channel 84. This re-
port can also be given directly by phone +46 31 699 100.
Finnish transport agency makes a decision regarding vessel traffic operation in the Gulf of Finland 9 meters
archipelago fairway. North of island Bodö between Lästholm - Längholmen meeting and overtaking by any
vessels is prohibited due to an ice-road and/or ice-bridge.
The speed limit is set to 9 kilometres per hour (5 knots).
This decision concerns all vessel traffic.
icebreaker: KONTIO, OTSO and FREJ assist in the Bay of Bothnia. ZEUS assists in the Bay of Bothnia as
well as in the northern Sea of Bothnia. VOIMA assists in the Gulf of Finland.
Germany
From 14.01.2016: Only daytime navigation is allowed in the northern approach to Stralsund (including Bod-
den waters west), eastern approach to Stralsund (from Palmer-Ort-Channel on), approach to Ladebow and
\n the northern and southern Peenestrom and the Kleines Haff.
Begin and end of daytime navigation can be obtained on VHF: Warnemuende traffic center, Stralsund traffic
channel 67 and Wolgast traffic channel 09.

tance only (from 12" of January).
Vysotsk: Tow boat-barges are not assisted. Vessels without ice class may navigate with icebreaker assis-
