Westliche und Südliche Ostsee 
Schwedische Küste: In geschützten Gebieten 
‚jegt örtlich Neueis. 
Vännersee: In Vanersborgsviken, Kinneviken und 
n den westlichen Schären und der nördlichen 
Varmland Küste sowie im Dalbosjön befindet sich 
ebenes Eis. 
Deutsche Küste: Auf der Schlei, in Wismar und im 
Stadthafen Rostock kommt stellenweise Eis vor. Im 
Fahrwasser nach Stralsund trifft man auf bis zu 30 
cm dickes, sehr dichtes Eis, im Fahrwasser nach 
Wolgast ist offenes Wasser zu finden. In den inne- 
’en Bodden, im Kleinen Haff sowie in geschützten 
Gebieten um Rügen und im Greifswalder Bodden 
kommt dichtes bis sehr dichtes ebenes Eis oder 
Festeis vor. Abseits davon kommt Neueis vor, Ört- 
ich auch lockeres Eis. Die Eisdicken liegen zwi- 
schen 5 cm und 30 cm, auf dem Eis hat sich 
Schmelzwasser gebildet. 
Polnische Küste: Das Stettiner Haff ist mit 10-15 
cm dickem Festeis bedeckt, im Fahrwasser treibt 
sehr dichtes, 10-15 cm dickes Eis und Trümmereis. 
Im Stettiner Hafen kommt 3-7cm dickes dichtes Eis 
Jnd im Svinemünder Hafen lockeres 5-10 cm dickes 
Eis vor. Das Weichsel-Haff und die Putziger Wiek 
sind mit bis zu etwa 23 cm dicken Festeis bedeckt. 
Western and Southern Baltic 
Swedish coast: In sheltered areas new ice may 
occur. 
Lake Vanern: In Vanersborgsviken, Kinneviken 
and in the western archipelagos and the northern 
Värmland Sea as well as in the Dalbosjön there is 
jevel ice. 
German Coast: On the Schlei, in Wismar and in 
the port of Rostock there is ice in places. In the 
fairways to Stralsund there is up to 30 cm thick, 
very close ice; in the fairway to Wolgast one can 
encounter open water. There is close to very close 
level ice and fast ice in the inner Bodden waters, 
the Kleines Haff as well as sheltered areas along 
the coast of Rügen and the Greifswalder Bodden. 
Off this ice there is new ice, in few places also 
open ice. The ice thicknesses vary between 5 cm 
and 30 cm and there are many puddles on the ice. 
Polish Coast: In the firth of Szczecin there is 10- 
15 cm thick fast ice, within the fairway there is 10- 
15 cm thick very close ice and brash ice. In the 
ports of Szezecin there is 3-7enm thick close ice 
and in the port Swinouj$cie open 5-10 cm thick ice 
occurs. The Vistula Lagoon as well as the Bay of 
Puck are covered with up to 23 cm thick fast ice. 
Skagerrak, Kattegat, Belte und Sund 
Norwegische Küste: Im Hafen von Oslo kommt 
örtlich 5-10 cm dickes, teilweise sehr dichtes Eis vor. 
Im Drammensfjord kommt in bis zu 15-30 cm dicken, 
dichten bis sehr dichten Eis eine Rinne vor. Im 
Mossesund liegt 5-10 cm dickes, dichtes bis sehr 
dichtes Eis. Im Svinesund ist eine Rinne in 15-30 cm 
dickem, sehr dichtem Eis vorhanden, weiter außen 
offenes Wasser. Bei Tansberg kommt meist 5-30 cm 
dickes Festeis vor. Bei Kragero gibt es örtlich Neu- 
eis, in geschützten Bereichen auch 15-30 cm dickes 
Festeis. Um Arendal kommt stellenweise sehr locke- 
‘es Packeis vor. 
Schwedische Küste: In geschützten Bereichen 
kann Neueis vorkommen. 
Skagerrak, Kattegat, Belts and Sound 
Norwegian Coast: In the port of Oslofjord there is 
from open water to 5-10 cm thick very close ice in 
olaces. In the Drammensfjord there is a lead in up 
io 15-30 cm thick, close to very close ice. In the 
Mossesund there is 5-10 cm thich, close to very 
close ice. In the Svinesund there is a lead in 15-30 
cm thick, very close ice, further out open water. 
Around Teonsberg there is mostly 5-30 cm thick fast 
ice. In the Kragero region new ice in places, in 
sheltered areas also 15-30 cm thick fast ice. In the 
Arendal region there is very open pack ice in plac- 
es. 
Swedish coast: There may be new ice present in 
sheltered bays. 
Voraussichtliche Eisentwicklung 
Bis zum Wochenende bleiben die Temperaturen im 
südlichen Ostseeraum bis hin zum Rigaischen und 
Finnischen Meerbusen wahrscheinlich um und über 
dem Gefierpunkt bei meist westlichen Winden. In der 
3ottenwiek werden meist Temperaturen nur knapp 
ınter Null erwartet, bei wechselnden, aber eher 
südlichen bis westlichen Winden. In den nächsten 
Tagen ist daher nicht mit großen Anderungen der 
Eislage zu rechnen.

Expected Ice Development 
Until the end of the week it is expected that, with 
mostly westerly wind, the air temperatures will stay 
mostly above the freezing point in the southern 
Baltic region up to the Gulf of Riga and the Gulf of 
Finland. In the Bay of Bothnia the expected 
temperature is mostly only slightly below zero, with 
changing, but predominantly southerly of westerly 
winds. Therefore no larger change in the ice 
situation is expected during the next few days.
