Fold-out display — Plot with the directions of arrival of the received GPS/Galileo satellites
from the perspective of the receiver, i.e. seen from the position given in point 1
‘0° azimuth refers to the direction to the North):
——
Circles represent the directions calculated based on the navigation data for the respective
satellites.
The crosses represent the results of the array-based direction estimation calculated by the
detection system using the signal processing methods.

Prewhitening plot is a diagram in which the reception characteristics of the adaptive
beamforming process for controlling the positions of the spatial null are displayed. When
an interference signal occurs, a null is generated in the diagram in the corresponding
direction. The position of the null can therefore be used to estimate the direction to the
interference source. The directions in the pre-whitening diagram refer to the ship's local
zoordinate system, 1.e. 0° azimuth corresponds to the ship's heading.
In addition to the diagram, the estimated jJamming-to-noise ratio (JNR) is also displayed in
the top left-hand corner of the window.
Beamforming plot represents the reception characteristics of the adaptive beamforming
process to maximize the received power of the satellite signal in a tracking channel of the
detection system. Typically, this beamforming process generates a beam in the direction of
‘he satellite, as shown here for the GPS satellite with PRN 17. for example:
