The pessimistic approach is carried out by counting the time difference between consecutive RFI 
snapshots and is depicted on Figure 3-28. The idea Is that the algorithm might be a little insensitive 
to weaker interference signals, with the purpose of ignoring what wouldn’t harm the receiver, and 
so does not declare interference present if not enough outliers in the ADC samples are detected.
