The position of the lighthouse, as given,
is in lat. 15 36$' N.. long. 95° 35' East from
Greenwich.
The object of the establishment of this
light is to enable vessels to avoid the dangers
of the Baragou flats and the Krishna shoal.

Buckeer.
A light, from a screw pile lighthouse,
near the high water mark, about 2 miles
north-east from the mouth of the China
Buckeer river.
The light will he a revoking light, at
taining its greatest brilliancy every minute,
and in clear weather should be seen from a
distance of 18 miles.
The illuminating apparatus is dioptric or
by lenses.
The approximate position of the lighthouse
is, lat. 16 17' X., long 96' 13 East. The
lower part of the lighthouse wilt be painted
white.

A light, from a screw pile lighthouse near
Eastern Grove, east side of the entrance of
Rangoon river.
The light will be a Ji.red light, visible bet
ween the bearings of North anil N.E. by E
\ E., having a more intense light visible 5
degrees on either side of the present position
of die light vessel, the centre bearing N.N.E.
\ K.
The approximate position of the lighthouse
is. lat. 16 29' N., long. 96 27$ East.
Also, that on die exhibition of the China
Buckeer and Eastern Grove lights, the light
vessel at present moored of the two rivers
will be removed.
