Maritime Vorhersagedienste 
2005 wird das BSH u.a. seine Methoden zur mittel 
fristigen Wasserstandsvorhersage weiterentwickeln 
und die Modelle zur Simulation von Schadstoffsaus 
breitungen optimieren. 
Intensiviert werden soll auch die Internationale Zu 
sammenarbeit zur Verbesserung der staatlichen 
Eisdienste für eine sichere Eisnavigation. Hierzu fin 
den Im September gemeinsame Treffen der Ostsee- 
Elsdlenste mit dem Ziel statt, Eisinformationen für 
den gesamten Ostseeraum künftig gemeinsam 
herauszugeben. 
ARGO, which collects data on climate developments

Ice services, the safety of Ice navigation Is to be 
Improved as well. For that purpose, the national 
Baltic Sea Ice services will meet In September to dis 
cuss the project of Issuing joint Ice reports for the 
entire Baltic region.
