Das BSH-Prüflabor gilt weltweit als eine der führen 
den Stellen für die Baumusterprüfung neuer Geräte,

The BSH’s testing laboratory has an International 
reputation as one of the leading laboratories for 
testing novel navigational equipment, with few other 
accredited testing laboratories worldwide offering a 
comparable range of services. The BSH’s testing and 
approval of prototypes for serial production is an 
important prerequisite to the Introduction of novel 
technologies on board vessels. 
The BSH also performs assessments of the quality 
management systems of equipment manufacturers, 
who are required to guarantee uniform quality of their 
products.
