FLEXIBLE
Use of controlling systems
Flexibility is the key to efficient work and customer-oriented performance
despite severe budget cutbacks. Today, more than ever, these are prerequisites
to success. The BSH set the course early, recognizing the relevance of
custom-made control instruments to the completion of its tasks. For more than
eleven years now, the BSH has been certified on the basis of an approved
quality management system. It has developed detailed quality standards for
over 160 products and services, which it reviews on a regular basis. In the
next few years, in an environment of shrinking resources, priority will be given
to consolidating the success that has been achieved by applying
product-related cost/efficiency analyses, a comprehensive controlling
system, and a well-functioning internal revision system.
The BSH’s human resources are crucial to its success. Therefore,
as an integral part of the BSH’s personnel development
programme, management and specialist personnel are regularly
offered opportunities for professional development.
