Fahrwasser bis zur Länge von Kotlin 15-25 cm 
dickes Festeis, dann bis zur Länge von Seskar 10- 
20 cm dickes dichtes bis sehr dichtes Eis vor. - Die 
nnere Vyborgbucht ist mit 15-30 cm dickem Festeis 
bedeckt. Außerhalb davon liegt zwischen den 
Breiten der Insel Igrivyj und des Leuchtturms Nerva 
sehr dichtes 10-20 cm dickes Eis. - Im Berkezund 
‘legt 12-22 cm dickes Festeis und in der Einfahrt 10- 
20 cm dickes sehr dichtes Eis. - An den Küsten der 
Copora- und Luga Bucht liegt 
zusammengeschobenes Eis, davor und in den 
Einfahrten kommt 10-15 cm dickes dichtes Eis vor.

In den inneren Schären liegt dünnes ebenes Eis und 
Neueis. 
Bottensee 
Finnische Küste: In den inneren Schären liegt 
dünnes Eis, weiter außerhalb kommt Neueis vor. - 
Schwedische Küste: Nördlich und südöstlich von 
Skagsudde treiben Gebiete mit dünnem sehr 
ockeren bis lockeren Eis und Eisbrei. Weiter 
südwärts kommt bis zur Gävle Bucht in geschützten 
Buchten dünnes Festeis oder Neueis vor. Der 
Angermanälv ist bis Storfjärden mit 10-25 cm 
dickem Festeis bedeckt. 
Norra Kvarken 
Auf See kommt Neueis und dünnes, dichtes Eis vor. 
Finnische Küste: In den inneren Schären liegt 
zwischen Vaasa und Ensten 5-25 cm dickes Festeis, 
außerhalb davon kommt bis Norrskär ebenes Eis, 
\leueis und dünnes sehr dichtes Treibeis vor. - 
Schwedische Küste: Zwischen der Küste und dem 
Gebiet um Nordvalen wechseln sich Felder mit 
'ockerem und dichtem Treibeis ab.

Sea of Bothnia 
Finnish Coast: In the inner archipelagos there is 
:hin ice, farther out there new ice. - Swedish 
Coast: North and southeast of Skagsudde areas

drifting. Farther southwards till Gävle Bight there is 
hin fast ice or new ice in sheltered bays. The 
Ängermanälv up to Storfjärden is covered with 10- 
25 thick fast ice. 
Norra Kvarken 
At sea new ice and thin close ice occurs. 
Finnish Coast: In the inner archipelago there is 5- 
25 cm thick fast ice between Vaasa and Ensten, 
“arther out there is to Norrskär level ice, new ice 
and thin very close drift ice. - Swedish Coast: 
Between the coast and the Nordvalen area there 
are alternating areas of close and open drift ice. 
Bottenvik 
Finnische Küste: Die nördlichen inneren Schären 
sind mit 20-35cm dickem Festeis bedeckt, 
außerhalb davon liegt 5-20 cm dickes sehr dichtes 
Eis und Neueis. Außerhalb Oulu kommt bis 20 sm 
westlich von Kattilankalla 5-20 cm dickes ebenes 
Eis, dann sehr dichtes 5-20 cm dickes Eis und 
\leueis vor. Von Raahe bis Nahkiainen tritt dünnes 
Eis und Neueis auf. Die Eisgrenze verläuft entlang 
der Linie Falkensgrund — 17 sm westlich von 
Nahkiainen — Kokkola-Leuchtturm. Im südlichen 
Abschnitt kommt bis zu den äußeren Schären 10-30 
cm dickes ebenes Eis, anschließend Neueis und 
Neueisbildung vor. - Schwedische Küste: In den 
1ördlichen inneren Schären liegt 15-35 cm dickes 
Festeis. Außerhalb davon wechseln sich Gebiete mit 
dichtem und sehr dichtem 5-25 cm dicken Eis ab. 
Eine mit Neueis bedeckte Rinne verläuft entlang der 
Festeiskante von Luleä nach Kemi. In der Skellefteä 
3ucht liegt aufgepresstes und festgestampftes Eis. 
Weiter südwärts bis Norra Kvarken erstreckt sich 
entlang der Küste ein 5-10 sm breites Gebiet mit 5- 
15cm dicekem dichten Treibeis und Neueis. Im 
Bay of Bothnia 
Finnish Coast: The northern inner archipelagos 
are covered with 20-35 cm thick fast ice, followed 
by 5-20 cm thick very close ice and new ice. Off 
Qulu there is 5-20 cm thick level ice and new ice up 
'o 20 nm west of Kattilankalla. Farther west there is 
5-20 cm thick very close ice as well as new ice. 
From Raahe to Nahkiainen thin ice and new ice 
occurs. The ice edge runs along the line 
ralkensgrund — 17 nm west of Nahkiainen — 
Kokkola lighthouse. In the southern part 10-30 cm

Coast: In the northern inner archipelagos there is 
‘5-35 cm thick fast ice. Farther out there are

from Luleäa to Kemi along the fast ice edge. In the 
Bight of Skellefteä there is ridged ice and brash ice 
barrier. Farther southwards to the Quark there is

ice and new ice. In central part there is open water.
