cm dickes Festeis. Auf See liegt sehr dichtes 30-60
cm dickes Eis, in dem gröbere Schollen und Press-
eisrücken vorkommen. Eine 20-40 sm breite Rinne
erstreckt sich von Malören bis Norströmsgrund,
dann weiter S-wärts entlang der Küste bis Norra
Kvarken. Im Bereich Norströmsgrund —
Falkensgrund — Farstugrunden treiben in der Rinne
einige grobe Eisschollen. In der Skelleftea Bucht
und E-lich von Bjuröklubb kommen Bereiche mit
groben Eisschollen vor.
sea there is mostly very close 30-60 cm thick ice
with heavy floes and ridges. A 20-40 nm wide lead
streiches from Malören to Norströmsgrund, then
farther southwards along the coast to Norra
Kvarken. In the region MNorströmsgrund —
Falkensgrund — Farstugrunden some heavy ice
floes are drifting in the lead. In the Bight of
Skellefteäa and east of Bjuröklubb there are some
areas with heavy ice floes.
Voraussichtliche Eisentwicklung
Im Bereich des N-lichen Bottnischen Meerbusens
werden in den nächsten drei Tagen schwache bis
näßige Winde aus unterschiedlichen Richtungen
vorherrschen. Das Eis außerhalb der finnischen
Bottenvikküste wird sich nur langsam auflockern.
Trotz örtlicher Nachtfröste werden tagsüber deutlich
ansteigende Lufttemperaturen den Eisrückgang in
Norra Kvarken und im Südteil der Bottenvik
beschleunigen, das Eis im Nordteil der Bottenvik
wird zunehmend morsch.
Expected Ice Development
In the region of the northern Gulf of Bothnia, the
weak to moderate winds will come from different
directions during the next three days. The ice off
the Finnish coast in the Bay of Bothnia will loose
only slowly. Despite local night frost, the significant
increase of the day temperatures will lead to an
accelerated ice decrease in Norra Kvarken and in
the southern Bay of Bothnia. In the northern Bay of
Bothnia the ice will become more and more rotten.
