Übersicht 
Jie Ostsee südlich von Norra Kvarken ist so gut wie 
eisfrei. In der Bottenvik konzentriert sich das Eis im 
östlichen Bereich, dort herrschen im Fahrwasser 
1ach Kemi-Tornio und Raahe schwierige Eis- 
verhältnisse. 
Die meisten Verkehrsbeschränkungen wurden 
weiter gelockert. 
Finnischer Meerbusen 
Saimaasee: Im N-lichen Teil liegt 5-15cm dickes, 
mnorsches Eis und südlich von Joensuu liegt 20- 
30cm dickes, morsches Eis. - Russische Küste: Im 
Zereich Westküste von Zapadnyj Berozovyj 
<ommen noch Eisreste vor. Ansonsten eisfrel. 
Overview 
The Baltic south of Norra Kvarken is practically 
completely ice free. In the Bay of Bothnia the ice is 
concentrated in the eastern part, where the 
fairways to Kemi-Tornio and Raahe are difficult to 
force. 
Most of the traffic restrictions were lowered further. 
Gulf of Finland 
Lake Saimaa: In the northern part there is 5-15cm 
thick, rotten ice and south of Joensuu there is 20- 
30cm thick, rotten ice. - Russian Coast: Ice 
remnant can still be found in the area around the 
western coast of the island Zapadnyj Berozovyj 
Else ice free. 
Norra Kvarken 
Finnish Coast: In the Vaasa archipelago there is 
30-60 cm thick rotten fast ice, then very open, but 
in places also very close and rafted, 15-40cm thick 
ice up to approximately Nora Gloppsten. Farther off 
there is open water, only to the north of 
Valassaaret very open drift ice occurs in places, - 
Swedish Coast: Open to close ice is drifting 
around 5nm north-west of Holmöarna. Else the 
Nordvalen passage and the area east of 
Holmöarna is mostly ice free, although single floes 
still do occur. West of Holmöarne there is open 
water and along the coast rotten ice is still present 
in places. 
Norra Kvarken 
Finnische Küste: In den Schären von Vaasa liegt 
30-60 cm dickes morsches Festeis, dann bis etwa 
Nora Gloppsten sehr lockeres, stellenweise aber 
auch sehr dichtes und übereinandergeschobenes, 
15-40 cm dickes Eis. Außerhalb davon offenes 
Nasser, nur N-lich von Valassaaret stellenweise 
sehr lockeres Eis. - Schwedische Küste: Etwa 5sm 
1ordwestlich von Nordvalen treibt lockeres bis 
dichtes Eis. Ansonsten in der Nordvalenpassage 
Jnd östlich von Holmöarna meist eisfrei, wobei aber 
einzelne treibende Schollen vorkommen. Westlich 
von Holmöarna offenes Wasser und entlang den 
Küsten findet man noch morsches Eis.
