ebenem oder sehr dichtem, morsch werdenden, 20-
40 cm dicken Eis bedeckt.

Rigaischer Meerbusen
Estnische Küste: Im Moonsund kommt morsch
werdendes Festeis und sehr dichtes 20-35 cm
dickes Eis vor. Die Pärnubucht ist mit 40-50 cm
dickem morschen Festeis bedeckt. Weiter im Fahr-
wasser zur Irbenstraße liegt sehr dichtes bis dichtes
15-35 cm dickes Eis. Die Irbenstraße ist eisfrei.
Gulf of Riga
Estonian Coast: In Moon Sound there is rottening
fast ice and very close 20-35 cm thick ice. In the
Pärnu Bay there is 40-50 cm thick rotten fast ice.
Farther out on the fairway to Irben Strait there is
very close to close 15-35 cm thick ice. The Irben
Strait is ice-free.
Gulf of Finland
Estonian Coast: In the Bight of Muuga there is
very open drift ice. In some smaller bays fast ice or
very close ice occurs, farther off there is open
water. - Finnish Coast: In the western
archipelagos there is 20-50 cm thick rottening fast
ice, farther out there is 10-40 cm thick ice of
different concentration: very close in the north to
very open in the south. The eastern archipelagos
are covered with 25-60 cm thick rottening fast ice.
Farther off there is to the line Tiiskeri — Bol'Soj
Tuters very close 25-45 cm thick ice, then open
water occurs. - Russian Coast: In the harbours of
St. Petersburg there is very close ice. Farther
westwards on the fairway 45-65 cm thick fast ice and
very close ice occurs to Kotlin, then very close 30-50
am thick ice to MoSgnyj, followed by very close 25-40
sm thick ice to the longitude of RodSer, finally by
open water and open 15-35 cm thick ice. - The
Yyborg Bay is covered with 45-65 cm thick fast ice,
followed by very close 30-50 cm thick ice up to the
ighthouse Sommers. Farther out there is very close
25-40 cm thick ice. - In Berkezund there is 45-65 cm
thick fast ice, in the entrance there is very close 30-
50 cm thick ice. - In the Luga Bay up to the latitude
of Cape Luto and along the coast of the Copora
Bay there is 25-45 cm thick fast ice. Farther out
there is for 3-7 nm open water, then very close 25-
45 cm thick ice.
Finnischer Meerbusen
Estnische Küste: In der Muugabucht sehr lockeres
Treibeis. In einigen kleineren Buchten liegt Festeis
oder sehr dichtes Eis, außerhalb davon kommt
offenes Wasser vor. - Finnische Küste: Das
Festeis in den W-lichen Schären ist 20-50 cm dick,
und es wird morsch. Außerhalb davon kommt etwa
bis zur Linie Bengtskär — Naissaar 10-40 cm dickes
Eis unterschiedlicher Konzentration vor: sehr dichtes
im N-Teil bis sehr lockeres im S-Teil. Die E-lichen
Schären sind mit 25-60 cm dickem, morsch
werdenden Festeis bedeckt. Außerhalb davon bis
zur Linie Tiiskeri — Bol'Soj Tuters sehr dichtes 25-45
cm dickes Eis, dann offenes Wasser. - Russische
Küste: In den Häfen von St. Petersburg kommt sehr
dichtes Eis vor. Weiter W-wärts im Fahrwasser bis
zur Länge von Kotlin Festeis und sehr dichtes Eis,
45-65 cm dick, dann sehr dichtes 30-50 cm dickes
Eis bis MoSEnyj, anschließend sehr dichtes 25-40
cm dickes Eis bis zur Länge von RodSer, gefolgt von
offenem Wasser und lockerem 15-35 cm dicken Eis.
Die Vyborgbucht ist mit 45-65 cm dickem Festeis
bedeckt, weiter bis zum Leuchtturm Sommers
kommt sehr dichtes 30-50 cm dickes Eis, dann sehr
dichtes 25-40 cm dickes Eis vor. - Im Berkezund
‚jegt 45-65 cm dickes Festeis, in der Einfahrt sehr
dichtes 30-50 cm dickes Eis. - In der Lugabucht bis
zur Breite von Kap Luto und an der Küste der
Copora Bucht liegt 25-45 cm dickes Festeis.
Anschließend kommt auf 3-7 sm offenes Wasser,
dann sehr dichtes 25-45 cm dickes Eis vor.
Schärenmeer
In den inneren Schären liegt 30-50 cm dickes,
morsch werdendes Festeis, in den äußeren Schären
15-35 cm dickes ebenes Eis und zusammen-
hängendes Treibeis bis Utö.
Älandsee
Wechselweise lockeres und dichtes 5-20 cm dickes
Treibeis; Schifffahrt durch Oregrundsgrepen ist nicht
empfehlenswert.
Bottensee
Finnische Küste: In den Schären liegt 25-60 cm
dickes Festeis. Außerhalb der Festeiskante öffnete
sich eine Rinne, anschließend liegt etwa bis zur
Linie Sydostbrotten — Finnarundet sehr dichtes, auf-
