Hafen von Klaipeda sowie alle Fahrwasser sind 
eisfrei. Im Kurischen Haff liegt 9-13 cm dickes 
Festeis. - Polnische Küste: Im Stettiner Haff kommt 
offenes Wasser vor. 
Lithuanian Coast: The harbour of Klaipeda and all 
fairways are ice free. In the Courland Lagoon there 
is 9-13 cm thick fast ice. - Polish Coast: In 
Szczecin Lagoon open water occurs. 
Mittlere und Nördliche Ostsee 
Schwedische Küste: Mälarsee: Im Westteil liegt 5- 
15 cm dickes Festeis, sonst kommt Neueis und 
Eisbildung vor. Vänernsee: In den inneren 
nördlichen Schären und im Vänersborgsviken liegt 
5-15 cm dickes Festeis. In geschützten Buchten 
kommt Neueis vor. 
Rigaischer Meerbusen 
Estnische Küste: In der Pärnubucht liegt 20-30 cm 
dickes Festeis. Weiter außerhalb kommt bis zur 
Breite von Kihnu sehr lockeres Eis, stellenweise 
auch 5-10 cm dickes dichtes Eis vor. Im Moonsund 
‚legt 10-20 cm dickes zusammengeschobenes Eis. - 
Lettische Küste: Entlang der Küste offenes 
Wasser, alle Fahrwasser sind eisfrei. 
Finnischer Meerbusen 
Estnische Küste: In Küstennähe treibt in der 
Narvabucht sehr lockeres Eis und in der Kundabucht 
sehr lockerer dunkler Nilas. Die Muugabucht ist 
aisfrei. - Finnische Küste: In den inneren Schären 
liegt dünnes ebenes Eis. Zwischen Hamina und 
Einonkari kommt dünnes dichtes Eis vor. 
Saimaasee: Im Nordteil liegt 20-25 cm dickes, im 
Südteil und im Kanal 10-20 cm dickes Eis. - 
Russische Küste: In den Häfen von St. Petersburg 
liegt zusammengeschobenes Eis. Weiter westwärts 
kommt im Fahrwasser bis zur Länge von 
Petrodvorec 10-20 cm dickes Festeis, dann bis zur 
Länge des Leuchtturm Tolbuchin 10-20 cm dickes 
sehr dichtes Eis vor. Bis zur Eisgrenze, die entlang 
der Linie Kap Seraja Loshad — Bol'Soj Ber'ozovyj — 
Halli — Hamina verläuft, tritt dunkler Nilas auf. - Die 
innere Vyborgbucht ist mit 15-25 cm dickem Festeis 
bedeckt. Außerhalb davon liegt zwischen der Breite 
der Insel Igrivy) und Kap Krestovyj dichtes 10-15 cm 
dickes Eis. Weiter kommt bis zur Breite von Halli 
Neueis vor. - Im Berkezund liegt 10-15 cm dickes 
dichtes Eis, außerhalb davon kommt Nilas vor. - 
Entlang der Küsten der Copora und Luga Bucht tritt 
Neueis auf. 
Schärenmeer 
In den inneren Schären liegt dünnes ebenes Eis. 
Central and Northern Baltic 
Swedish coast: - Lake Mälaren: In the western 
part there is 5-15 cm thick fast ice, else there is 
new ice and ice formation. Lake Vänern: In the 
inner northern archipelagoes and in 
Vänersborgsviken there is 5-15 cm thick fast ice. 
There is new ice in sheltered bays. 
Gulf of Riga 
Estonian Coast: In the Pärnu Bay there is 20-30 
cm thick fast ice. Farther out up to the longitude of 
the island Kihnu, there is very open ice, and 5-10 
cm thick close ice, in places. In Moonsund there is 
10-20 cm thick compact ice. - Latvian Coast: 
Open water along the coast, the fairways are ice- 
free. 
Gulf of Finland 
Estonian Coast: In the Narva Bay there is very 
open ice near the coast. Very open dark nilas is 
found near the coast in the Kunda Bay. The Muuga 
Bay is ice free. - Finnish Coast: In the inner 
archipelagos there is thin level ice. Between 
Hamina and Einonkari thin close ice occurs. Lake 
Saimaa: In the northern part there is 20-25 cm 
'hick ice, in the southern part and in the Canal 
‘here 10-20 cm thick ice. - Russian Coast: In the 
1arbours of St. Petersburg there is compact ice. 
Farther westwards on the fairway 10-20 cm thick fast 
ice occurs to the longitude Petrodvorec, followed by 
10-20 cm thick very close ice up to the longitude of 
'he lighthouse Tolbuchin. Farther out there is dark 
nilasup to the ice edge, which runs approximately 
along the line Cape Seraja Loshad — Bol'Soj 
Ber'ozovy] — Rock Halli — Hamina. - The inner 
Yyborg Bay is covered with 15-25 cm thick fast ice. 
Farther out there is 10-15 cm thick close ice between 
the latitudes of island Igrivyj and the cape Krestovy]. 
Still farther out there is new ice up to the Rock Halli. - 
In Berkezund there is 10-15 cm thick close ice, 
farther out there is nilas. - Along the coasts of the 
Copora Bay and the Luga Bay there is new ice. 
Archipelago Sea 
In the inner archipelagos there is thin level ice. 
Sea of Bothnia 
Finnish Coast: In the inner archipelagos there is 
thin level ice, farther out there is a narrow belt of 
thin drift ice. - Swedish Coast: In some sheltered 
bays, mostly those to the north of Sundsvall and 
those in the of Gävle Bight, there is thin fast ice 
and new ice. On the Ängermanälv there is 5-15 
thick fast ice to Storfjarden. 
Bottensee 
Finnische Küste: In den inneren Schären liegt 
dünnes ebenes Eis, weiter außerhalb kommt ein 
schmaler Streifen aus dünnem Treibeis vor. - 
Schwedische Küste: In einigen geschützten 
Buchten, hauptsächlich nördlich von Sundsvall und 
in der Gävile Bucht, kommt dünnes Festeis und 
Neueis vor. Auf dem Ängermanälv liegt bis 
Storfjarden 5-15 cm dickes Festeis.
