Übersicht 
Im Bottnischen Meerbusen treibt das Eis weiterhin in 
die südliche Richtungen. In der nördlichen Bottenvik 
Jnd an der schwedischen Küste in der nördlichen 
3Zottensee öffneten sich Rinnen. In der südlichen 
3ottenvik, in der Älandsee und in der südlichen 
Bottensee kommt es zu starken Pressungen. 
Nordsee 
Dänische Küste: In inneren Gewässern gebiets- 
weise dichtes bis kompaktes Treibeis oder Festeis 
nit Dicken von bis zu 50 cm. - Deutsche Küste: Die 
\ordfriesischen Küstegewässern sind weitgehend 
eisfrei. Im Hafen von Tönning befindet sich 15-30 
cm dickes sehr offenes Trümmereis. Beim Eider- 
damm ist lockeres Eis mit einer Dicke von 5-10 cm. 
Skagerrak, Kattegat, Belte und Sund 
Vor der norwegischen Küste befindet sich meist 
ockeres bis sehr lockeres, dünnes Treibeis, in 
einigen Gegenden auch dichteres und dickeres Eis. 
Dänische Küste: In kleineren Häfen und geschützt 
jegenden sowie flachen Küstengewässern liegt bis 
zu 35 cm dickes Festeis. Es befinden sich einige 
Gebiete mit lockerem Treibeis bis zu 15 cm im 
Kattegat. Zwischen Fornaes und Laeso ist ein Gebiet 
mit dichtem bis kompakten Treibeis mit 
Aufpressungen. Die Eisdicke beträgt dort bis 30 cm. 
in Belten und Sund gibt es Gebiete mit offenem 
Treibeis, bis 15 cm dick. - Norwegische Küste: In 
vielen Fjorden entlang der Küste dichtes bis 
<ompaktes 15-30 cm dickes Eis und bis zu 30 cm 
dickes Festeis. - Schwedische Küste: In den 
Schären 20-40 cm dickes Festeis oder ebenes Eis. 
Overview 
The ice in the Gulf of Bothnia is further on drifting 
to the south. In the northern Bay of Bothnia and 
along the Swedish coast in the northern Sea of 
Bothnia leads have opened. Strong ice pressure 
occurs in the southern Bay of Bothnia, in the Sea 
of Äland and in the southern Sea of Bothnia. 
North Sea 
Danish Coast: In the inshore waters are areas 
with close to compact drift ice and fast ice up to 
about 50 cm. - German Coast: In the Northfrisian 
coastal area waters are mostly ice free. In the 
harbour of Tönning 15-30 cm thick very open brash 
ice occurs. At Eiderdamm open ice of 5-10 cm 
thickness. 
Skagerrak, Kattegat, Belts and Sound 
Off the Norwegian coast there is mostly open to 
very open thin drift ice with some areas of closer 
and thicker ice. 
Danish Coast: In small harbours and sheltered 
and shallow coastal waters there is up to 35 cm 
thick fast ice. There are few areas with open drift 
ice up to about 15 cm thick in Kattegat. Between 
Fornaes and Lzaeso there is an area with close to 
compact drift ice with ridges. Ice thickness in this 
area is 30 cm. In the Belt sea and the Sound areas 
with open drift ice to about 15 cm. - Norwegian 
Coast: In many fjords along the coast there is 
close to compact 15-30 cm thick ice and up to 30 
cm thick fast ice. - Swedish Coast: Level or fast 
ice in the archipelagos, 20-40 cm.
