Übersicht 
Im Bottnischen Meerbusen treibt das Eis weiterhin in 
die südliche Richtungen. In der nördlichen Bottenvik 
Jnd an der schwedischen Küste in der nördlichen 
3Zottensee öffneten sich Rinnen. In der südlichen 
Z3ottenvik, in Älandsee und in der südlichen 
Bottensee kommt es zu starken Pressungen. 
Overview 
The ice in the Gulf of Bothnia is further on drifting 
to the south. In the northern Bay of Bothnia and 
along the Swedish coast in the northern Sea of 
Bothnia leads are opened. Strong ice pressure 
occurs in the southern Bay of Bothnia, in the Sea 
of Aland and in the southern Sea of Bothnia. 
North Sea 
Danish Coast: In the Limfjord 10-40 cm thick fast 
ice. - German Coast: In the Northfrisian coastal 
area waters are mostly ice free. In the harbour of 
Tönning 15-30 cm thick compact brash ice occurs 
with increasing open areas. The river Eider is open. 
At Eiderdamm the cumulated ice decreases, 
resulting in open ice of 5-10 cm thickness. The Kiel 
Canal is ice-free. 
Nordsee 
Dänische Küste: Im Limfjord kommt 10-40 cm 
dickes Festeis vor. - Deutsche Küste: Die Nord- 
friesischen Küstegewässern sind weitgehend eisfrei. 
Im Hafen von Tönning befindet sich 15-30 cm dickes 
<ompaktes Trümmereis mit zunehmend offenen 
Stellen. Die Eider ist offen. Das beim Eiderdamm 
angesammelte Eis hat abgenommen und so 
befindet sich dort lockeres Eis von 5-10 cm Dicke. 
Jer Nord-Ostsee-Kanal ist eisfrei. 
Skagerrak, Kattegat, Belte und Sund 
Vor der norwegischen Küste befindet sich meist 
ockeres bis sehr lockeres, dünnes Treibeis, in 
einigen Gegenden auch dichteres und dickeres Eis. 
Dänische Küste: In kleineren Häfen und geschützt 
jegenden sowie flachen Küstengewässern liegt bis 
zu 35 cm dickes Festeis. Der Küste von Hals bis zu 
den Fjorden von Mariager und Randers vorgelagert, 
befindet sich dichtes bis zusammenhängendes 
Treibeis mit Aufpressungen von bis zu 30 cm Dicke. 
in Belten und Sund Gebiete mit offenenem Treibeis, 
Aufpressungen bis 15 cm. - Norwegische Küste: In 
vielen Fjorden entlang der Küste dichtes bis 
Kompaktes 15-30 cm dickes Eis und bis zu 30 cm 
dickes Festeis. - Schwedische Küste: In den 
Skagerrak, Kattegat, Belts and Sound 
Off the Norwegian coast there is mostly open to 
very open thin drift ice with some areas of closer 
and thicker ice. 
Danish Coast: In small harbours and sheltered 
and shallow coastal waters there is up to 35 cm 
‘hick fast ice. Along the coast off Hals to Mariager 
and Randers Fjord there are close to consolidated 
drift ice and ridges up to about 30 cm thick. In the 
Belt sea and the Sound areas areas with open drift 
ice, ridges up to about 15 cm. - Norwegian Coast: 
In many fjords along the coast there is close to 
compact 15-30 cm thick ice and up to 30 cm thick 
fast ice. - Swedish Coast: Level or fast ice in the 
archipelagos, 20-40 cm.
