Estnische Küste: Der Moonsund ist mit 20-40 cm 
dickem Festeis bedeckt. In der Pärnubucht liegt bis 
zur Breite 58N 45-55 cm dickes Festeis, weiter im 
Fahrwasser zur Irbenstraße kommt sehr dichtes, 
iJbereinandergeschobenes und aufgepresstes 20-40 
cm dickes Eis vor. In der Irbenstraße tritt kompaktes 
ind aufgepresstes 20-35 cm dickes Eis auf. - 
Lettische Küste: Im Hafen von Riga offenes 
Wasser, im Fahrwasser Riga — Irbenstraße sehr 
dichtes 15-35 cm dickes Eis, bei Kolka mit 
Pressungen, in der Irbenstraße dichtes Eis. Weiter 
m Fahrwasser bis Ventspils lockeres dünnes 
Treibeis. 
Estonian Coast: In Moonsund there is 20-40 cm 
ihick fast ice, in the Pärnu Bay there is 45-55 cm 
thick fast ice up to the latitude 58°N, farther out on 
‘he fairway to Irben Strait there is very close, rafted 
and ridged 20-40 cm thick ice. In the Irben Strait 
there is compact and ridged 20-35 cm thick ice. - 
Latvian Coast: In the port of Riga open water, on 
the fairway Riga — Irben Strait there is very close 
15-35 cm thick ice, near Kolka with ice pressure, in 
Irben Strait close ice. Farther out on the fairway to 
Ventspils there is open thin drift ice. 
Finnischer Meerbusen 
Estnische Küste: In der Küstennähe kommt in den 
3uchten 5-20 cm dickes Festeis, weiter außerhalb 
sehr lockeres dünnes Treibeis vor. - Finnische 
Küste: In den Schären liegt 20-50 cm dickes 
Festeis, außerhalb davon kommt im W-lichen 
Abschnitt sehr dichtes 5-40 cm dickes Eis, im E- 
ichen Abschnitt zusammengeschobenes, stark 
aufgepresstes 20-40 cm dickes Eis und einige 
Stellen mit Neueis vor. - Russische Küste: In den 
Ädäfen von St. Petersburg liegt Festeis. Weiter 
westwärts im Fahrwasser bis Kotlin 40-55 cm dickes 
Festeis, dann sehr dichtes 25-40 cm dickes Eis bis 
Kap Kolgompja, gefolgt von sehr dichtem bis 
dichtem 15-30 cm dicken Eis und sehr lockeren Eis 
'n der Nähe von Gogland. - Die innere Vyborgbucht 
st mit 35-50 cm dickem Festeis bedeckt, weiter bis 
zum Leuchtturm Sommers kommt sehr dichtes 25- 
40 cm dickes Eis vor, dann dichtes bis sehr dichtes 
20-30 cm dickes Eis. - Im Berkezund ist 35-50 cm 
dickes Festeis, in der Einfahrt sehr dichtes 25-40 cm 
dickes Eis. - In der Lugabucht liegt 25-35 cm dickes 
Festeis, in der Einfahrt sehr dichtes bis dichtes 25- 
40 cm dickes Eis und Bereiche mit sehr lockerem 
Treibeis. In der Copora Bucht 25-35 cm dickes 
Festeis, in der Einfahrt sehr dichtes 25-40 cm dickes 
Eis. 
Gulf of Finland 
Estonian Coast: In the Bays there is near the 
coast 5-20 cm thick fast ice, farther out very open 
‘hin drift ice. - Finnish Coast: In the archipelagos 
*here is 20-50 cm thick fast ice. Off the fast ice 
‘here is in the western part very close 5-40 cm thick

Schärenmeer 
In den inneren Schären liegt 20-45 cm dickes Fest- 
eis, in den äußeren Schären 20-30 cm dickes 
ebenes Eis und zusammengefrorenes Treibeis bis 
Utö. Weiter S-wärts sehr dichtes 5-25 cm dickes Eis 
bis zur Breite von Almagrundet. 
Älandsee 
Mit sehr dichtem, teilweise übereinandergeschobe- 
ı1em 5-20 cm dicken Eis bedeckt. Dicht an der Küste 
verläuft eine 1-5 sm breite, mit Neueis bedeckte 
Rinne. 
Bottensee 
Vollständig eisbedeckt. 
Finnische Küste: In den Schären liegt 25-50 cm 
dickes Festeis, außerhalb davon kommt auf etwa 3- 
10 sm dünnes ebenes Eis, dann dichtes 5-20 cm 
dickes Eis vor. - Schwedische Küste: In den 
Archipelago Sea 
In the inner archipelagos there is 20-45 cm thick 
'ast ice, in the outer skerries there is 20-30 cm 
‘hick level ice and consolidated drift ice to Utö. 
Farther southwards there is very close 5-25 cm 
thick ice to the latitude of Almagrundet. 
Sea of Äland 
Covered by very close, partly rafted 5-15 cm thick 
ice. Close to the coast there is a 1-5 nm wide lead, 
covered with new ice. 
Sea of Bothnia 
Totally ice covered. 
Finnish Coast: In the archipelagos there is 25-50 
om thick fast ice, farther out an approximately 3-10 
nm wide belt of thin level ice, then close 5-20 cm
