icebreaker: EVA-316 is assisting to Pärnu Bay and Bay of Riga

Icebreaker: KONTIO assists in the Bay of Bothnia. KUMMELI assists in the Saimaa Canal and in the southern 
_ake Saimaa. METEOR assists in the middle and northern Lake Saimaa and LETTO in the northern Lake 
Saimaa. 
Russia 
Tow boat-barges are not assisted to St. Petersburg. 
Icebreaker: Icebreakers KAPITAN ZARUBIN, YURI LISYANSKI and MUDJUG assist low-powered vessels in 
the port of St. Petersburg. In the ports Vyborg and Vysotsk low-powered vessels are assisted by icebreaker 
KAPITAN IZMAILOW. 
Sweden 
Vessels not suitable for winter navigation, river vessels and tugs with barge can not expect governmental 
cebreaker assistance. 
All ships entering harbours in the Gulf of Bothnia shall, when passing Svenska Björn (59° 33’N 20° 01’ E). 
contact ICEINFO on VHF channel 84. 
Arrival report is to be made to ICEINFO, on VHF channel 16, when the ship is well moored, including ship’s 
ıame, ETD and next port of destination. 
Departure report is to be made to ICEINFO, on VHF channel 16, at least 6 hours before departure. 
icebreaker: ALE assists at need in the northern Bay of Bothnia.
