dünnes Eis oder Neueis. - Schwedische Küste: Im 
1ördlichen Teil kommt in einigen geschützten 
3uchten dünnes ebenes Eis und Neueis vor. Auf 
dem Ängermanälv liegt bis Storfjarden 5-15 cm 
dickes Festeis, weiter bis Härnöklubb kommt Neueis 
vor. 
Sea of Bothnia 
Finnish Coast: In the inner archipelagos there is 
thin ice or new ice. - Swedish Coast: In the 
northern part thin level ice and new ice occur is 
some sheltered bays. On the Ängermanälv there is 
5-15 thick fast ice to Storfjarden, farther off to 
Härnöklubb new ice occurs. 
Norra Kvarken 
Finnische Küste: In den inneren Schären kommt 
is Vaasa dünnes ebenes Eis, weiter bis Vaasa- 
Leuchtturm Neueis vor. - Schwedische Küste: In 
den inneren Buchten und kleineren Häfen tritt örtlich 
dünnes ebenes Eis und Neueis auf. 
Norra Kvarken 
Finnish Coast: In the inner archipelago there is 
'hin level ice to Vaasa, then new ice to Vaasa 
'ighthouse. - Swedish Coast: In the inner bays and 
small harbours there is thin level ice and new ice, 
in places. 
Bay of Bothnia 
Finnish Coast: There is 5-20 cm thick fast ice or 
evel ice in the northern inner archipelago to Kemi 3 
and from QOulu to Liberta. Farther out new ice with 
some thicker ice floes in between occurs to the line 
Malören — Kemi 1 — 15 nm west of Hailuoto — 
\lahkiainen — Kokkola. - Swedish Coast: In the 
1orthern inner archipelagos there is 10-30 cm thick 
fast ice. In the outer archipelago 5-20 cm thick 
close or level ice as well as new ice occurs. 
Bottenvik 
Finnische Küste: In den nördlichen inneren 
Schären liegt bis Kemi 3 sowie von Qulu bis Liberta 
5-20 cm dickes Festeis oder ebenes Eis. Weiter 
außerhalb kommt bis zur Linie Malören — Kemi 1 -— 
15 Seemeilen westlich von Hailuoto — Nahkiainen — 
Kokkola Neueis mit einigen dickeren Eisschollen 
dazwischen vor. - Schwedische Küste: In den 
16rdlichen inneren Schären liegt 10-30 cm dickes 
Festeis. In den äußeren Schären kommt 5-20 cm 
dickes dichtes oder ebenes Eis sowie Neueis vor. 
Voraussichtliche Eisentwicklung 
In den nächsten zwei Tagen ist im nördlichen 
Ostseeraum keine wesentliche Eiszunahme zu 
arwarten. In der Bottenvik werden Winde aus 
Sstlichen Richtungen das Eis außerhalb der 
finnischen Küste etwas auflockern. Die 
Neueisbildung im mittleren Ostseeraum wird sich 
verlangsamen, im westlichen und südlichen 
Bereichen wird das Eis etwas abnehmen.

Expected Ice Development

blow out from easterly directions, so that the ice

somewhat. Ice formation will slow down in the 
middle of the Baltic region, in the western and 
southern parts the ice will slowly decrease.
