Übersicht 
Die Eislage im Ostseeraum hat sich seit gestern 
licht wesentlich verändert. 
Overview 
Ice conditions in the region of the Baltic Sea have 
not changed very much since yesterday. 
North Sea 
Dutch Coast: In the area of Eems some small 5- 
10 cm thick ice floes are drifting. - Danish Coast: 
n the Limfjord and near Ringkebing there is up to 
over 30 cm thick fast ice. - German Coast: In the 
Eastfrisian Wadden Sea there is open water, only 
in scattered places thin ice. On the Ems and Weser 
some thin ice is drifting in places. On the Kiel Canal 
‘here is very open to close 5-15 cm thick ice. On 
‘he river Elbe close to compact ice, 15-30 cm thick, 
oaccurs between Hamburg and Gilückstadt. At 
Brunsbüttel there is open 15-30 cm thick ice, 
farther out mostly ice free. In the Northfrisian 
Wadden Sea there is mostly open water, in 
harbours and sheltered regions close to compact 5- 
30 cm thick ice occurs. 
Nordsee 
Niederländische Küste: Im Bereich Eems treiben 
ainzelne kleine, 5-10cm dicke Eisschollen. - 
Dänische Küste: Im Limfjord und bei Ringköping 
kommt bis über 30cm dickes Festeis vor. - 
Deutsche Küste: Im ostfriesischen Wattenmeer 
kommt offenes Wasser, sehr vereinzelt auch dünnes 
Eis vor. Auf Ems und Weser treibt vereinzelt dünnes 
Eis. Im Nord-Ostsee-Kanal sehr lockeres bis 
dichtes 5-15 cm dickes Eis. Auf der Elbe treibt 
dichtes bis kompaktes 15-30 cm dickes Eis 
zwischen Hamburg und Glückstadt. Bei Brunsbüttel 
ockeres 15-30 cm dickes Eis, dann überwiegend 
oisfrei. Im nordfriesischen Wattenmeer kommt 
Überwiegend offenes Wasser, in den Häfen und 
geschützten Bereichen dichtes bis kompaktes 5-30 
cm dickes Eis vor. 
Skagerrak und Kattegat 
Dänische Küste: In kleineren Häfen und geschützt 
ijegenden und flachen Küstengewässern kommt 10- 
30 cm dickes Eis vor. An der Nordspitze Jütlands 
treibt sehr lockeres bis dichtes 5-15 cm dickes Eis 
Ind Neueis. In den Belten und dem Sund kommt 
offenes Wasser vor, vor der Küste treibt Neueis und 
stellenweise lockeres 5-10 cm dickes Eis. - 
Norwegische Küste: Im Fahrwasser nach 
Kristiansand und im Oslofjord kommen 
unterschiedliche Eisverhältnisse vor. Außerhalb der 
Küste tritt dichtes 10-15 cm dickes Eis auf. Im Hafen 
Skagerrak and Kattegat 
Danish Coast: In small harbours and sheltered 
and shallow coastal waters there is 10-30 cm thick 
ice. At the northern tip of Jutland there is very open 
to close, 5-15 cm thick drift ice and new ice. In the 
Belts and the Sound there is open water, outside 
‘he coast new ice and open 5-10 cm thick ice is 
drifting. - Norwegian Coast: On the fairway to 
Kristiansand and in the Oslofjord there are variable 
ice conditions. Off the coast close 10-15 cm thick 
ice occurs. In the port of Oslo there is fast ice and 
5-15 cm thick drift ice. In many fiords along the
