Übersicht 
In allen Bereichen des nördlichen Ostseeraumes hat 
sich Neueis gebildet. 
Nordsee 
Dänische Küste: In einigen Häfen kommt dünnes 
Eis vor. - Deutsche Küste: Im Hafen Tönning liegt 
Festeis, etwa 5 cm dick. Sonst kommt in einigen 
Häfen an der nordfriesischen Küste dünnes Eis, 
Neueis oder Eisbrei vor. Im Hafen Cuxhaven und in 
den Einfahrten tritt örtlich dünnes Eis auf. 
Skagerrak und Kattegat 
Dänische Küste: In einigen Häfen sowie geschützt 
ijegenden und flachen Küstengewässern kommt 
dünnes dichtes Eis sowie dünnes Festeis vor. 
Overview 
New ice has formed in all areas of the northern 
region of the Baltic Sea. 
North Sea 
Danish Coast: In some harbours there is thin ice. - 
German Coast: In the harbour of Tönning there is 
fast ice, about 5 cm thick. Else, thin ice, new ice or 
shuga occurs in some harbours on the Northfrisian 
coast. In the harbour of Cuxhaven and entrances 
there is thin ice, in places. 
Skagerrak and Kattegat 
Danish Coast: In some harbours as well in some 
sheltered and shallow coastal waters there is thin 
close ice and thin fast ice. 
Western and Southern Baltic 
German Coast: In some inner harbours as well as 
n the inner Schlei thin ice or new ice occurs. 
Bodden waters south of Darß and Zingst are 
covered with 5-8 cm thick fast ice. The northern 
fairway to Stralsund, the harbour of Stralsund and 
Strelasund till Palmer Ort are covered with about 5 
cm thick fast ice. In the Landtiefrinne appr. 5 cm 
thick ice floes are drifting. The northern Peene- 
strom is covered with about 10 cm thick ice, farther 
out some new ice occurs. The inner Bodden 
waters, the Peenestrom south of Wolgast and 
«leines Haff are covered with up to 10 cm thick fast 
ce. - Lithuanian Coast: In the harbour of Klaipeda 
very open shuga is slowly drifting northwestwards, 
.n the entrance open water occurs. In the Courland 
Lagoon there is 10-15 cm thick fast ice. - Polish 
Coast: In the harbours of Szezecin and 
Westliche und Südliche Ostsee 
Deutsche Küste: In einigen Häfen und auf der 
nneren Schlei kommt dünnes Eis oder Neueis vor. 
Boddengewässern südlich von Darß und Zingst sind 
nit 5-8 cm dickem Festeis bedeckt. In der 
Nordzufahrt nach Stralsund, im Hafen Stralsund und 
m Strelasund bis Palmer Ort liegt etwa 5 cm dicke 
Eisdecke. In der Landtiefrinne treiben lockere etwa 5 
cm dicke Eisschollen. Der nördliche Peenestrom ist 
nit etwa 10 cm dickem Eis bedeckt, weiter 
außerhalb treibt Neueis. Der südliche Peenestrom, 
nnere Boddengewässer und Kleines Haff sind mit 5- 
10 cm dickem Festeis bedeckt. - Litauische Küste: 
im Hafen Klaipeda treiben sehr lockere 
Eisbreiklümpchen langsam nordwestwärts, in der 
Zufahrt kommt offenes Wasser vor. Im Kurischen 
Haff liegt 10-15 cm dickes Festeis. - Polnische 
Küste: In den Häfen Szczecin und Swinoauiscie
