vor. In vielen Fjorden entlang der Küste liegt dichtes 
bis kompaktes 5-30 cm dickes Eis und bis zu 50 cm 
dickes Festeis. Westlich des Bereichs Arendal 
kommt bei Lillesand offenes Wasser vor. - 
Schwedische Küste: In den Schären N-lich von 
Göteborg kommt 10-15cm dickes Festeis vor. Auf 
See N-lich von Väderöbod und im inneren Teil der 
Skalderviken und der Laholm Bucht kommt dünnes 
Eis und Eisbrei vor. 
Westliche und Südliche Ostsee 
Deutsche Küste: In den Häfen, Förden und inneren 
Fahrwassern der Kieler und Mecklenburger Bucht 
legt 10-25 cm dickes Festeis, dünnes Eis oder 
Neueis. Die Boddengewässer und das Haff sind mit 
15-30 cm dicken Festeis bedeckt. An den 
Außenküsten der Insel Rügen und Usedom liegt 
stellenweise Festeis und sehr dichtes 10-15 cm 
dickes Eis. In der Pommerschen Bucht kommt im 
SE-Teil dichtes bis kompaktes 10-15 cm dickes Eis 
vor. - Litauische Küste: Im Hafen von Klaipeda 
"ockerer Eisbrei. In den Fahrwassern kommt sehr 
‚ockerer Eisbrei und Pfannkucheneis vor. Das 
Kurische Haff ist mit 40-50 cm dickem Festeis 
bedeckt. - Polnische Küste: Im Stettiner Haff liegt 
20-30 cm dickes Festeis, im Fahrwasser Szczecin — 
Swinoujscie kommt sehr dichtes, bis zu 25cm 
dickes Trümmereis vor. Im Hafen Szczecin sehr 
dichtes 15-30 cm dickes Eis, im Hafen Swinoujscie 
sehr lockeres 15-30cm dickes Eis, in der 
Pommerschen Bucht ist die Zufahrt nach 
SwinoujScie eisfrei. In allen Häfen entlang der Küste 
sehr lockeres bis dichtes, bis 15 cm dickes Eis. In 
der Gdansker Bucht tritt verbreitet Neueis auf. 
Schwedische Küste: Im Öresund kommt in 
Küstennähe kompaktes dünnes eis vor. 
Mittlere und Nördliche Ostsee 
Schwedische Küste: In den inneren Stockholmer 
Schären liegt 10-20 cm dickes Festeis Weiter S-lich 
kommt in den Schären bis Kalmarsund und in den 
Schären von Karlskrona 10-30 cm dickes Festeis 
oder dünnes ebenes Eis vor. Entlang der Küste liegt 
‘ockeres dünnes Eis und Eisbrei. Mälarsee: Mit 10- 
30 cm dickem Festeis bedeckt. Vänernsee: In den 
nördlichen Schären, Vänersborgsviken und 
Kinneviken 10-35cm dickes Festeis. Außerhalb 
davon treiben im Norden Streifen dichten Eises. In 
den Schären von Lurö 5-20 cm dickes Eis. Im 
Dalbosjön treiben nördlich von Megrund Streifen 
dichten Eises.. - Lettische Küste: Der Hafen 
Ventspils ist mit dichtem hellen Nilas bedeckt, im 
Fahrwasser nach Liepaja liegt sehr lockeres Eis. Im 
Hafen von Liepaja kompaktes Eis, weiter südlich 
treibt im Fahrwasser sehr lockeres Eis. Entlang der 
gesamten Küste liegt ein etwa 30 km breiter Streifen 
mit dünnem Eis. 
Rigaischer Meerbusen 
Entlang der Ostküste verläuft eine 6-10 sm breite 
Polynya mit Neueis, sonst mit sehr dichtem 5-15 cm

German Coast: In the harbours, fjords and inner 
fairways of the Bights of Kiel and Mecklenburg 
there is 10-25 cm thick fast ice, thin ice or new ice. 
The Bodden waters and the Haff are covered with 
15-30 cm thick fast ice. On the outer coasts of the 
islands Rügen and Usedom there is partly fast ice 
and very close 10-15 cm thick ice. In the 
Pomeranian Bight close to compact 10-15 cm thick 
ice occurs in the southeastern part. - Lithuanian 
Coast: In the harbour of Klaipeda there is open 
shuga. On the fairways there is very open shuga 
and pancake ice. The Courland Lagoon is covered 
with 40-50 cm thick fast ice. - Polish Coast: In 
Szczecin Lagoon there is 20-30 cm thick fast ice; 
on the fairway Szczecin — Swinoujscie there is very 
close broken, up to 25 cm thick brash ice. In the 
Dort of Szezecin there is very close 15-30 cm thick 
ice, in the port of SwinoujScie there is very open 
15-30 cm thick ice, in the Pomeranian Bight the 
approach to Swinoujscie is ice-free. In all ports 
along the coast there is very open to close, up to 
15 cm thick ice. In the Bight of Gdansk there is new 
ice. Swedish coast: In the Öresund there is thin 
compact ice near the coast. 
Central and Northern Baltic 
Swedish coast: In the inner part of the Stockholm 
archipelago there is 10-20 cm thick fast ice. In the 
archipelagos farther south to the Kalmarsund as 
well as in the archipelagos of Karlskrona there is 
10-30 cm thick fast ice or thin level ice. Along the 
coast there is thin open ice and shuga. Lake 
Mälaren: Covered with 10-30 cm thick fast ice. 
Lake Vänern: In the inner northern archipelagos 
and in Vänersborgsviken there is 10-35 cm thick 
fast ice. Outside the fast ice belts of close ice are 
drifting in the north. In the archipelago of Lurö there 
is 5-20 cm thick ice. In the Dalbosjön belts of close 
ice are drifting north of Megrund. . - Latvian Coast: 
The port of Ventspils is covered by close light 
Nilas. Very open ice is drifting on the fairway to 
Liepaja. In the port of Liepaja compact ice, farther 
out in the fairway to the south there is very open 
ice. Along the whole coast there is an about 30 km 
wide belt with thin ice. 
Gulf of Riga 
Along the eastern coast there is a 6-10 nm wide
