Estonia 
Icebreaker: EVA-316 is assisting to Pärnu Bay and Bay of Riga 
Finland 
Icebreaker: KONTIO assists in the Bay of Bothnia. KUMMELI| assists in the Saimaa Canal and in the southern 
_ake Saimaa. METEOR assists in the middle and northern Lake Saimaa and LETTO in the northern Lake 
Saimaa. 
Russia 
icebreaker: Icebreakers IVAN KRUZENSTERN and KAPITAN ZARUBIN assist low-powered vessels in the 
port of St. Petersburg. In the ports Vyborg and Vysotsk low-powered vessels are assisted by icebreaker 
KAPITAN IZMAILOW. 
Sweden 
Vessels not suitable for winter navigation, river vessels and tugs with barge can not expect governmental 
cebreaker assistance. 
All ships entering harbours in the Gulf of Bothnia shall, when passing Svenska Björn (59° 33’N 20° 01’E), 
zontact ICEINFO on VHF channel 84. 
Arrival report is to be made to ICEINFO, on VHF channel 16, when the ship is well moored, including ship’s 
name, ETD and next port of destination. 
Jeparture report is to be made to ICEINFO, on VHF channel 16, at least 6 hours before departure. 
icebreaker: ALE assists at need in the northern Bay of Bothnia.
