Rigaischer Meerbusen 
Entlang der Ostküste verläuft eine 3-8 sm breite 
DPolynya mit Neueis, sonst mit sehr dichtem 5-15 cm 
dicken Eis bedeckt. 
Estnische Küste: Der Moonsund ist mit 20-30 cm 
dickem Festeis bedeckt. In der Pärnubucht liegt bis 
zur Breite von Kihnu 35-50 cm dickes Festeis. - 
Lettische Küste: Im Hafen von Riga lockeres 10-15 
cm dickes Eis, in der Irbenstraße kompaktes 10-15 
cm dickes Eis, weiter im Fahrwasser nach Ventspils 
treibt dichtes Eis. 
Gulf of Riga 
Along the eastern coast there is a 3-8 nm wide 
polynya with new ice, else, covered with very close 
5-15 cm thick ice. 
Estonian Coast: In Moonsund there is 20-30 cm 
thick fast ice, in the Pärnu Bay there is 35-50 cm 
thick fast ice up to the latitude of Kihnu. - Latvian 
Coast: In the port of Riga there is open 10-15 cm 
thick ice, in the Irben Strait compact 10-15 cm thick 
ice, farther out on the fairway to Ventspils there is 
olose pack ice. 
Finnischer Meerbusen 
Estnische Küste: In den Buchten 10-15 cm dickes 
Festeis, außerhalb davon liegt in der Kunda- und 
Tallinnbucht dichtes Eis, in der Narva- und Muuga- 
bucht sehr dichtes Eis. - Finnische Küste: In den 
Schären liegt Festeis, im Westen 10-25 cm, im 
Osten 15-30 cm dick. Anschließend im Westen ein 
5-10 sm breites Gebiet mit sehr dichtem 10-20 cm 
dicken Eis, gefolgt von dünnem ebenen Eis und 
\eueis bis zur Linie Utö — Hiiumaa. Im Osten 
schließt an das Festeis bis zur Linie Helsinki- 
_euchtturm — Gogland — Vigrund sehr dichtes 10-25 
cm dickes Eis. Weiter S-lich liegt dünnes ebenes Eis 
Jnd Neueis. - Russische Küste: In den Häfen von 
St. Petersburg liegt Festeis. Weiter westwärts im 
Fahrwasser bis Kotlin 20-35 cm dickes Festeis, 
weiter bis Tolbuchin 15-30 cm dickes Festeis, dann 
bis Seskar zusammenhängendes 20-30 cm dickes 
zis, anschließend bis RodSer zusammenhängendes 
15-25 cm dickes Eis. Weiter westwärts kommt bis 
zur Länge von Pakri dichtes bis sehr dichtes, 5-15 
cm dickes Eis vor. - Die innere Vyborgbucht ist mit 
30-45 cm dickem Festeis bedeckt, außerhalb davon 
legt zusammenhängendes 15-25 cm dickes Eis. - 
Im Berkezund 20-30 cm dickes Festeis und in der 
=infahrt zusammenhängendes 15-30 cm dickes 
Treibeis. - An den Küsten der Copora- und Luga 
Zucht liegt 15-25 cm dickes Festeis, in den 
Einfahrten zusammenhängendes und kompaktes 
15-25 cm dickes Eis, bei der Copora Bucht auch 
sehr dichtes, 15-25 cm dickes Eis. 
Schärenmeer 
In den inneren Schären liegt 15-30 cm dickes 
Festeis und dünnes ebenes Eis, in den äußeren 
Schären dünnes ebenes Eis. Weiter außerhalb 
Neueisbildung. 
Bottensee 
Finnische Küste: In den Schären liegt 15-35 cm 
dickes Festeis, außerhalb davon ein etwa 5-10 sm 
breiter Gürtel mit sehr dichtem dünnen Eis und 
\eueis. - Schwedische Küste: In den Schären liegt 
10-30 cm dickes Festeis. In der Gävlebucht treibt bis 
Finngrundet sehr lockeres dünnes Eis. Der 
Ängermanälv ist mit 20-30 cm dickem Festeis 
bedeckt. 
Gulf of Finland 
Estonian Coast: There is 10-15 cm thick fast ice in 
the bays, outside the fast ice there is close ice in 
the Kunda and Tallinn Bays and very close ice in 
the Narva and Muuga Bays. - Finnish Coast: In 
the archipelagos there is fast ice, 10-25 cm thick in 
the west and 15-30 cm thick in the east. Off the fast 
ice in the west there is an 5-10 nm wide area with 
very close 10-20 cm thick ice, followed by thin level 
ice and new ice up to the line Utö — Hiiumaa. In the 
gast there is very close 10-25 cm thick ice outside 
the fast ice, reaching up to the line Helsinki 
lighthouse — Gogland — Vigrund. Farther out thin 
level ice and new ice. - Russian Coast: In the 
harbours of St. Petersburg there is fast ice. Farther 
westwards on the fairway 20-35 cm thick fast ice 
Daccurs to Kotlin, then 15-30 cm thick fast ice to 
Tolbuchin, followed by consolidated 20-30 cm thick 
ice up to Seskar and consolidated 15-25 cm thick ice 
up to RodSer. Farther westwards there is close to 
very close, 5-15 cm thick ice up to the longitude of 
Pakri. - The inner Vyborg Bay is covered with 30-45 
sm thick fast ice. Farther out there is consolidated 
15-25 cm thick ice. - In Berkezund there is 20-30 cm 
thick fast ice, in the entrance there is consolidated 
15-30 cm thick drift ice. - Along the coasts of the 
Luga and Copora Bay there is 15-25 cm thick fast 
ice, in the entrances there is 15-25 cm thick 
consolidated and compact ice, at the entrance to 
Corpora Bay also very close, 15-25 cm thick ice. 
Archipelago Sea 
In the inner archipelagos there is 15-30 cm thick 
fast ice and thin level ice. In the outer skerries 
there is thin level ice and farther out there is ice 
formation. 
Sea of Bothnia 
Finnish Coast: In the archipelagos there is 15-35 
cm thick fast ice, farther out there is an about 5-10 
nm wide belt of very close thin ice and new ice. - 
Swedish Coast: In the archipelagos there is 10-30 
cm thick fast ice. In the Gävle Bight very open thin 
ice is drifting to Finngrundet. The Ängermanälv is 
covered with 20-30 thick fast ice.
