Eisbrei auf. Im Hafen von Oslo kommt lockeres Eis 
vor. In vielen Fjorden von der schwedischen Grenze 
bis hin zum Tromeysund im Bereich Arendal liegt 
dichtes bis kompaktes 5-30cm dickes Eis und bis zu 
50cm dickes Festeis. Westlich des Bereichs 
Arendal kommt bei Lillesand offenes Wasser vor. - 
Schwedische Küste: In den Schären N-lich von 
Göteborg kommt dünnes Festeis vor. Außerhalb der 
Küste kommt nördlich von Masekar auf See Neueis 
vor

the coast, from the Swedish border all the way to 
the Tromoysund in the Arendal region, there is 
close to compact, 5-30cm thick ice and up to 50cm 
thick fast ice. To the west of the Arendal region 
there is open water at Lillesand. - Swedish Coast: 
in the archipelagos north of Gothenburg there is 
thin fast ice. Outside the coast north of Masekar 
there is new ice at sea. 
Westliche und Südliche Ostsee 
Deutsche Küste: Die Schlei ist mit 15-25 cm 
dickem Eis bedeckt. In den Förden und Häfen der 
Kieler Bucht liegt dünnes Eis. Von Hohwacht bis 
zum Fehmarnsund treibt auf See Neueis. Im Hafen 
YHeiligenhafen liegt sehr dichtes 15-30cm dickes Eis. 
im Fehmarnbelt kommt an der Küste Neueis vor. In 
der Lübecker Bucht treibt sehr lockeres Neueis: In 
der Neustädter Bucht liegt sehr dichtes Eis und im 
Hafen 10-15cm dickes kompaktes Eis. Im Hafen 
Travemünde liegt 5-10cm dickes lockeres Eis. Im 
Adafen Wismar kommt 20cm dickes, dichtes Eis vor, 
außerhalb liegt bis 17cm dickes kompaktes und 5- 
10cm dickes dichtes Eis bis Timmendorf, weiter 
außerhalb kommt Neueis vor. In Rostock liegt auf 
der Unterwarnow sehr dichtes, 10-15cm dickes Eis, 
im Seehafen sehr lockeres Neueis. Die Bodden- 
gewässer südlich von Darß und Zingst sind mit 10- 
25 cm dickem Eis bedeckt. An der Küste bei Zingst 
und Neuendort liegt Neueis. In den inneren 
Gewässern nördlich von Stralsund liegt 10-25 cm 
dickes Eis. Im Hafen Stralsund kommt 10-15cm 
dickes Festeis vor, dann liegt bis Freesendorfer 
Haken 10-30cm dickes kompaktes Eis. Im Greifs- 
walder Bodden liegt kompaktes 5-20 cm dickes Eis, 
teilweise übereinander- und zusammengeschoben, 
an der Küste liegt bis 30cm dickes Festeis. Die 
inneren Boddengewässer, der Peenestrom und das 
Kleines Haff sind mit 10-30 cm dicken Festeis 
bedeckt. Um die Greifswalder Oi liegt 20-25cm 
dickes kompaktes Eis. In den Häfen Mukran und 
Sassnitz and auf See davor liegt dichtes bis sehr 
dichtes, 5-15cm dickes Eis. An der Außenküste 
Rügens liegt stellenweise Festeis und sehr dichtes, 
10-15cm dickes Eis. In der Pommerschen Bucht 
xommt dichtes bis kompaktes, 10-15cm dickes Eis 
vor. - Litauische Küste: Im Hafen von Klaipeda 
dichter, in der Einfahrt lockerer Eisbrei und Pfann- 
sucheneis. In den Fahrwassern kommt offenes 
Nasser vor, an den Küsten lockerer Eisbrei. Das 
Kurische Haff ist mit 30-50 cm dickem Festeis 
bedeckt. - Polnische Küste: Im Stettiner Haff liegt 
20-30 cm dickes Festeis, im Fahrwasser Szczecin — 
Swinoujscie kommt sehr dichtes, bis zu 25cm 
dickes Trümmereis vor. Im Hafen Szczecin liegt sehr 
dichtes 10-15 cm dickes Eis, im Hafen Swinoujscie 
sehr lockeres 15-30 cm dickes Eis und außerhalb 
auf See treibt lockeres, 10-15cm dickes Eis. In den 
Häfen Gdansk, Gdynia, Ustka und Darlowo kommt 
sehr lockeres bis dichtes. bis 15cm dickes Eis vor. 
Western and Southern Baltic 
German Coast: The Schlei is covered with 15-20 
cm thick ice. In the harbours and sheltered bays of 
the Kiel Bight there is thin ice. From Hohwacht to 
Fehmarnsund there is new ice and in the harbour 
of Heiligenhafen very close, 15-30cm thick ice. In 
the Fehmarnbelt new ice near the coast. In the 
Lübecker Bight there is very open new ice, in 
Neustadt harbour there is 10-15cm thick compact 
ice and very close ice in the bay outside. In 
Travemünde port open 5-19cm thick ice. In the 
Wismar harbour there is 20 cm thick close ice, 
farther out up to 17cm thick compact ice and 5- 
10cm thick close ice to Timmendorf, followed by 
open new ice at sea. In Rostock there is very close, 
10-15cm thick ice on the whole Unterwarnow and 
very open new ice in the sea port. Bodden waters 
south of Darß and Zingst are covered with 10-25 
cm thick fast ice. Outside Zingst and Neuendorf 
there is new ice along the coast. Inner waters north 
off Stralsund are covered with 15-30cm thick ice. In 
the port of Stralsund 10-15cm thick fast ice, farther 
aut to Freesendorfer Haken there is 10-30 cm thick 
compact ice. In Greifswalder Bodden there is close 
to compact 5-20 cm thick ice, rafted and ridged in 
Jlaces, at the coast up to 30cm thick fast ice. The 
ınner Bodden waters, the Peenestrom and Kleines 
Haff are covered with 10-30 cm thick fast ice. 
Dutside the Greifswalder Bodden there is 20-25cm 
thick compact ice, partly rafted, around the 
Greifswalder Oie. In the harbours of Mukran and 
Sassnitz and outside on the sea there is close to 
very close, 5-15cm thick ice. Off the northern and 
eastern coasts of island Rügen there is in places 
fast ice and very close 10-15cm thick ice near the 
coast. - Lithuanian Coast: In the harbour of 
Klaipeda there is close shuga and pancake ice, in 
the entrance open shuga and pancake ice. On the 
fairways there is open water, near the coast open 
shuga. The Courland Lagoon is covered with 30-50 
cm thick fast ice. - Polish Coast: In Szezecin 
Lagoon there is 20-30 cm thick fast ice; on the 
fairway Szczecin — Swinoujscie there is very close 
oroken, up to 25 cm thick brash ice. In the port of 
Szczecin there is very close 10-15 cm thick ice, in 
the port of Swinoujscie there is very open 15-30 cm 
thick ice, and farther out at sea open, 10-15cm 
thick ice is drifting. In the ports Gdansk, Gdynia, 
Ustka and Darlowo there is up to 15cm thick, very 
open to close ice.
