Finnische Küste: Die nördlichen inneren Schären
sind mit 25-40 cm, die südlichen Schären mit 15-30
cm dickem Festeis bedeckt. Außerhalb davon
kommt bis zur Linie Nahkiainen — Helsingkallan 5-15
cm dickes ebenes Eis vor, sonst liegt auf See sehr
dichtes, üÜübereinandergeschobenes und aufge-
presstes 10-30 cm dickes Eis. - Schwedische
Küste: In den nördlichen inneren Schären 20-40 cm
dickes Festeis. Außerhalb davon nördlich der Linie
Farstugrunden — Raahe sehr dichtes 15-30 cm
dickes Eis, in dem Bereiche mit Presseisrücken
vorkommen. Im Bereich Nygrän — Norströmsgrund —
Falkensgrund Neueis. In der Bucht von Skellefteä
dünnes ebenes Eis. Sonst tritt sehr dichtes 10-20
cm dickes Treibeis auf.
Voraussichtliche Eisentwicklung
Das Wetter im Ostseeraum wird bis über das
Wochenende hinaus von einem Hochdruckgebiet
über Russland bestimmt, das sich langsam
südwestwärts verlagert. In allen Bereichen des
Ostseeraumes ist mit einer intensiven Eiszunahme
zu rechnen.

Finnish Coast: The northern inner archipelagos
are covered with 25-40 cm, the southern
archipelagos with 15-30 cm thick fast ice. Farther
off there is 5-15 cm thick level ice up to the line
Nahkiainen — Helsingkallan, else at sea there is
very close, rafted and ridged 10-30 cm thick ice. -
Swedish Coast: In the northern inner archipelagos
'here is 20-40 cm thick fast ice. Farther out and
north of the line Farstugrunden — Raahe there is
very close 15-30 cm hick ice with areas of ridges.
In the area Nygrän — MNorströmsgrund —
Falkensgrund new ice. In the Bight of Skellefteä
there is thin level ice. Otherwise there is very close
10-20 cm thick drift ice.
Expected Ice Development
The weather in the region of the Baltic Sea will be
set by a high pressure area over Russia moving
slowly southwestwards past the week-end.
Intensive ice formation is expected in all regions of
the Baltic Sea.
