Riga ist eisfrei. Im Fahrwasser Riga — Irbenstraße 
sehr lockeres Eis, in der Irbenstraße und weiter 
ıach Ventspils lockeres dünnes Eis. 
Finnischer Meerbusen 
Estnische Küste: In der Narvabucht 10-15 cm 
dickes Festeis und dichtes 10-20 cm dickes 
Treibeis. In der Kundabucht ein schmaler 
Festeissaum, außerhalb davon lockeres dünnes 
Eis. In der Muuga Bucht an der Küste sehr lockeres 
dünnes Eis. In der Tallinnbucht Neueis. - Finnische 
Küste: In den inneren Schären liegt Festeis, im 
Westen 5-25 cm, im Osten 15-25 cm dick. 
Anschließend kommt bis zu der Linie Porkkala- 
_-euchtturm —- Gogland — Vigrund sehr dichtes 5-20 
cm dickes Eis vor. Weiter S-lich bis zur Linie 
3engtskär — Naissaar tritt Neueis auf. Saimaasee: 
)m Nordteil liegt 20-35 cm dickes, im mittleren und 
südlichen Teil sowie im Kanal 15-25 cm dickes Eis. - 
Russische Küste: In den Häfen von St. Petersburg 
iegt Festeis. Weiter westwärts im Fahrwasser bis 
Kotlin 20-35 cm dickes Festeis, dann bis Seskar 
Überwiegend sehr dichtes 15-30 cm dickes Eis, 
anschließend bis zur Linie Gogland — Bol'Soj T'uters 
— Toila dichtes bis sehr dichtes 10-20 cm dickes Eis. 
Weiter westwärts kommt bis zur Linie Pakri — 
3engtskär Neueis vor. - Die innere Vyborgbucht ist 
nit 25-40 cm dickem Festeis bedeckt, außerhalb 
davon liegt bis MoSCEnyj sehr dichtes 10-25 cm 
dickes Eis. - Im Berkezund 18-28 cm dickes Festeis 
Jınd in der Einfahrt sehr dichtes 15-25 cm dickes 
Treibeis. - An den Küsten der Copora- und Luga 
Zucht liegt 10-15 cm dickes Festeis, in der 
Einfahrten zusammenhängendes und kompaktes 
10-25 cm dickes Eis. 
Schärenmeer 
In den inneren Schären 10-25 cm dickes Festeis 
Jnd dünnes ebenes Eis, anschließend in den 
äußeren Schären örtlich dünnes Eis. 
Bottensee 
Finnische Küste: In den inneren Schären 15-30 cm 
dickes Festeis, weiter außerhalb kommt auf etwa 5- 
10 sm dichtes bis sehr dichtes 5-10 cm dickes Eis 
vor. - Schwedische Küste: In den nördlichen 
Schären liegt 15-30 cm dickes Festeis. Außerhalb 
des Festeises treiben S-lich von Sundsvall Streifen 
mit dichtem Eis. Der Ängermanälv ist mit 15-30 cm 
dickem Festeis bedeckt. 
Norra Kvarken 
Auf See dichtes bis sehr dichtes 5-20 cm dickes Eis. 
Finnische Küste: In den inneren Schären liegt 
zwischen Vaasa und Ensten 15-35 cm dickes 
Festeis, außerhalb davon kommt bis Nordvalen 
dichtes bis sehr dichtes 5-10 cm dickes Eis vor. - 
Schwedische Küste: Ostlich von Holmöarna 
wechselweise Bereiche mit dichtem, teilweise 
the island Kihnu there is 10-15 cm thick very close 
ice and new ice farther off. - Latvian Coast: The 
port of Riga is ice-free. On the fairway Riga —- Irben 
Strait there is very open thin ice, in the Irben Strait 
and farther out to Ventspils there is open thin ice. 
Gulf of Finland 
Estonian Coast: In the Narva Bay there is a 10-15 
om thick fast ice and farther off close 10-20 cm 
ihick drift ice. In the Kunda Bay there is a narrow 
Delt of fast ice and open thin ice off farther out. In 
the Muuga Bay there is very open thin ice near the 
coast. In the Tallinn Bay new ice occurs. - Finnish 
Coast: In the inner archipelagos there is fast ice, 5- 
25 cm thick in the west and 15-25 cm thick in the 
east. Off the fast ice there is very close 5-20 cm 
thick ice to the line Porkkala lighthouse — Gogland 
Vigrund. Farther out up to the line Bengtskär — 
Naissaar there is new ice. Lake Saimaa: In the 
northern part there is 20-35 cm, in the middle and 
southern part as well as in Canal 15-25 cm thick 
ice. - Russian Coast: In the harbours of St. 
Detersburg there is fast ice. Farther westwards on 
‘he fairway 20-35 cm thick fast ice occurs to Kotlin, 
’ollowed by mosily very close 15-30 cm thick ice up 
‘'o Seskar and close to very close 10-20 cm thick ice 
up to the line Gogland — Bol'Soj T'uters — Toila. 
Farther westwards there is new ice up to the line 
Dakri — Bengtskär. - The inner Vyborg Bay is covered 
with 25-40 cm thick fast ice. Farther out there is very 
close 10-25 cm thick ice to MoSCnyj. - In Berkezund 
there is 18-28 cm thick fast ice, in the entrance 
‘here is very close 15-25 cm thick drift ice. - Along 
‘he coasts of the Luga and Copora Bay there is 10- 
15 cm thick fast ice, in the entrances there is 10-25 
cm thick consolidated and compact ice. 
Archipelago Sea 
In the inner archipelagos there is 10-25 cm thick 
fast ice and thin level ice. In the outer skerries 
there is thin ice, in places. 
Sea of Bothnia 
Finnish Coast: In the inner archipelagos there is 
15-30 cm thick fast ice, farther out there is an about 
5-10 nm wide belt with close to very close 5-10 cm 
'hick ice. - Swedish Coast: In the northern 
archipelagos there is 15-30 cm thick fast ice. Off 
'he fast ice south of Sundsvall belts of close ice 
are drifting. The Ängermanälv is covered with 15- 
30 thick fast ice.

At sea close to very close 5-20 cm thick ice. 
Finnish Coast: In the inner archipelago there is
