offenes Wasser. Im Bereich Porsgrunn sehr 
:ockeres bis lockeres Neueis. Im Bereich Kragerg 
Iberwiegend 15-30 cm dickes Festeis. Im Bereich 
Arendal sehr lockeres Eis und dünnes Festeis, im 
Tromegysund ist das Festeis aber 15-30 cm dick. Bei 
_illesand offenes Wasser. - Schwedische Küste: In 
den Schären nördlich von Göteborg kommt dünnes 
Festeis vor. 
I'n the Sandefjord and Larvik regions there is open 
water. In the Porsgrunn area there is open to very 
open new ice. In the Kragero area there is mostly 
15-30 cm thick fast ice. In the Arendal region there 
IS very open new ice and thin fast ice, but in 
Tromeysund the fast ice is 15-30 cm thick. Open 
water at Lillesand - Swedish Coast: in the 
archipelagos north of Gothenburg there is thin fast 
ice. 
Westliche und Südliche Ostsee 
Deutsche Küste: Die innere Schlei ist mit 15-20 cm 
dickem Eis bedeckt. In den Häfen von Flensburg, 
YHeiligenhafen, Lübeck, Wismar und Rostock kommt 
Örtlich dünnes Eis oder Neueis vor. Auf der 
Unterwarnow dichtes 5-10 cm dickes Eis; in den 
Rostocker Seehäfen stellenweise Neueis. Die 
Boddengewässer südlich von Darß und Zingst sind 
mit 10-15 cm dickem Eis bedeckt, auf dem Zingster 
Strom Neueis. In den inneren Gewässern nördlich 
von Stralsund kompaktes 10-20 cm dickes Eis und 
Festeis. Im Stralsunder Hafen 10-15 cm dickes, sehr 
dichtes Eis, weiter im Fahrwasser bis Palmer Ort 
etwa 20 cm dickes Festeis, eine Fahrrinne ist 
gebrochen. Im Greifswalder Bodden an den Küsten 
bis zu 20 cm dickes Festeis und kompaktes Eis, 
welches stellenweise zusammengeschoben und 
aufgepresst ist, sonst kommt dichtes dünnes Eis vor. 
Der südliche Peenestrom, die inneren 
Boddengewässer und das Kleine Haff sind mit 10-20 
cm dickem Festeis bedeckt. - Litauische Küste: Im 
Yafen von Klaipeda dichter Eisbrei und 
Pfannkucheneis, in der Hafeneinfahrt offenes 
Wasser. In den Fahrwassern kommt offenes Wasser 
vor. Kurisches Haff ist mit 25-40 cm dickem Festeis 
bedeckt. - Polnische Küste: Im Stettiner Haff liegt 
10-15 cm dickes Festeis, im Fahrwasser Szczecin — 
Swinoujscie kommt sehr dichtes, teilweise 
übereinandergeschobenes 10-15 cm dickes 
Trümmereis vor. Im Hafen Szczecin dichtes 10-15 
cm dickes Eis, im Hafen Swinoujscie lockeres 5- 
10cm dickes Eis. In den Häfen entlang der 
gesamten Küste kommt Neueis vor. 
Western and Southern Baltic 
German Coast: The inner Schlei is covered with 
15-20 cm thick ice. In the harbours of Flensburg, 
Heiligenhafen, Lübeck, Wismar and Rostock there 
is thin ice or new ice, in places. On the 
Jnterwarnow 5-10 cm thick close ice; new ice in 
places in the sea harbours of Rostock. The Bodden 
waters south of Darß and Zingst are covered with 
10-15 cm thick ice, on the Zingster Strom new ice. 
ın the inner waters north of Stralsund there is 10-20 
cm compact ice and fast ice. In the port of 
Stralsund there is 10-15 cm thick very close ice 
and farther out on the fairway past Palmer Ort 
about 20 cm thick fast ice with broken channel. In 
'he Greifswalder Bodden there is near the coasts 
fast ice or compact up to 20 cm thick ice, ridged 
and rafted in places; else close thin occurs. The 
'nner Bodden waters, the Peenestrom south of 
Wolgast and Kleines Haff are covered with 10-20 
cm thick fast ice. - Lithuanian Coast: In the 
harbour of Klaipeda there is close shuga and 
pancake ice, in the entrance there is open water. 
On the fairways there is open water. The Courland 
Lagoon is covered with 25-40 cm thick fast ice. - 
Polish Coast: In Szczecin Lagoon there is 10-15 
cm thick fast ice; on the fairway Szezecin — 
SwinoujsScie there is very close, partly rafted 15 cm 
thick brash ice. In the port of Szczecin there is 
close 10-15 cm thick ice, in the port of Swinoujscie 
there is open 5-10 cm thick ice. In the ports along 
the whole coast there is new ice. 
Mittlere und Nördliche Ostsee 
Schwedische Küste: In den Stockholmer Schären 
iegt im N-lichen und mittleren Teil dünnes Festeis 
sowie Neueis und im S-lichen Teil ebenes Eis und 
Neueis. Weiter südlich bis Kalmarsund kommt in 
den Schären 10-20 cm dickes ebenes Eis oder 
Neueis vor. Mälarsee: Mit 10-30 cm dickem Festeis 
bedeckt. Vänernsee: In den inneren nördlichen 
Schären und in Vänersborgsviken 10-30 cm dickes 
Festeis. Vor Vänersborgsviken und Kinneviken liegt 
gefrorener Eisbrei. - Lettische Küste: Der Hafen 
von Ventspils ist eisfrei. Im Hafen von Liepaja treibt 
dichtes Eis. 
Central and Northern Baltic 
Swedish coast: In the Stockholm archipelago 
there is thin fast ice and new ice in the northern 
and middle parts and thin level ice and new ice in 
the southern part. Farther southwards to the 
Kalmarsund there is 10-20 cm thick level ice or 
new ice in the archipelagos. - Lake Mälaren: 
Covered with 10-30 cm thick fast ice. Lake 
Vänern: In the inner northern archipelagos and in 
Vänersborgsviken there is 10-30 cm thick fast ice. 
There is frozen shuga off the entrance to Väners- 
borgsviken and Kinneviken. - Latvian Coast: The 
port of Ventspils is ice free. Close ice is drifting in 
the port of Liepaja.
