15 cm dickes, vereinzelt auch etwas dickeres, Eis 
vor. Neueis tritt auch im Seegebiet nördlich und 
südlich von Skagen auf. - Norwegische Küste: Im 
inneren Bereich des Hafens Oslo tritt örtlich sehr 
lockeres Neueis auf. Im Mossesund und Drammens- 
fjord liegt 15-50 cm dickes, sehr dichtes oder 
zusammengeschobenes Eis. In dem Bereich Tons- 
berg kommt 5-15 cm dickes Eis, im Vestfjorden ist 
das Festeis 30-50 cm dick. In den Bereichen Sande- 
ford und Larvik offenes Wasser. Im Bereich 
Porsgrunn sehr lockeres bis lockeres Neueis. Im 
Bereich Kragero überwiegend 15-30 cm dickes 
Festeis. Im Bereich Arendal sehr lockeres Eis und 
dünnes Festeis, im Tromoysund ist das Festeis aber 
15-30 cm dick. Bei Lillesand offenes Wasser. - 
Schwedische Küste: In den Schären nördlich 
Göteborg dünnes Festeis, Auf See treiben, nördlich 
Marstrand bis zur Insel Koster, Streifen mit dichtem 
Neueis und Eisbrei, die sich langsam auflösen. 
Westliche und Südliche Ostsee 
Deutsche Küste: Die innere Schlei ist mit 10-15 cm 
dickem Eis bedeckt, auf der äußeren Schlei Neueis. 
In den Häfen von Flensburg, Heiligenhafen und 
_übeck liegt Neueis. Bei Wismar 10-15cm dickes 
‘:ockeres Eis im Hafen und in der Bucht stellenweise 
Neueis. Bei Rostock ist der Stadthafen eisfrei, aber 
außerhalb liegt auf der Unterwarnow 5-10 cm dickes 
sehr dichtes Eis; in den Seehäfen stellenweise Neu- 
eis. Die Boddengewässer südlich von Darß und 
Zingst sind mit 5-10 cm dickem Eis bedeckt, auf 
dem Zingster Strom Neueis. In den inneren 
Gewässern nördlich von Stralsund liegt kompaktes 
10-20 cm dickes Eis und Festeis. Im Stralsunder 
dafen liegt 10-15 cm dickes, sehr dichtes Eis, weiter 
‚m Fahrwasser bis Palmer Ort kommt etwa 20 cm 
dickes Festeis vor, eine Fahrrinne ist gebrochen. Im 
Greifswalder Bodden treibt, überwiegend im 
westlichen Teil, Neueis; an den Küsten liegt bis zu 
20 cm dickes Festeis und kompaktes Eis, welches 
stellenweise zusammengeschoben ist und in der 
Dänischen Wiek kommen einige Presseisrücken vor. 
Außerhalb der Greifswalder Boddens kommt an den 
Küsten stellenweise Eis vor und bei der Greifswalder 
Qi treibt Neueis. Der südliche Peenestrom, die 
inneren Boddengewässer und das Kleine Haff sind 
mit 10-20 cm dickem Festeis bedeckt. - Litauische 
Küste: Im Hafen von Klaipeda dichter Eisbrei und 
Pfannkucheneis, in der Hafeneinfahrt offenes 
Wasser. In den Fahrwassern kommt offenes Wasser 
vor. Kurisches Haff ist mit 25-40 cm dickem Festeis 
bedeckt. - Polnische Küste: Im Stettiner Haff liegt 
10-15 cm dickes Festeis, im Fahrwasser Szczecin — 
SwinoujScie kommt sehr dichtes 10-15 cm dickes 
Trümmereis vor, teilweise übereinandergeschoben. 
im Hafen Szczecin dichtes 10-15 cm dickes Eis, im 
Hafen Swinoujscie lockeres 5-10 cm dickes Eis. In 
den Häfen entlang der gesamten Küste kommt 
Neueis vor.

accurs also in the sea area north and south of 
Skagen. - Norwegian Coast: In the inner harbour 
of Oslo there is very open new ice in places. In 
Mossesund and Drammensfijord there is very close 
or compact, 15-50 cm thick ice. In the Tonsberg 
area there is open 5-15cm thick ice, in Vestfjorden 
there is 30-50 cm thick fast ice. In the Sandefjord 
and Larvik regions there is open water. In the 
Porsgrunn area there is open to very open new ice. 
In the Kragero area there is mostly 15-30 cm thick 
fast ice. In the Arendal region there is very open 
new ice and thin fast ice, but in Tromoeysund the 
fast ice is 15-30 cm thick. Open water at Lillesand - 
Swedish Coast: in the archipelagos north of 
Gothenburg thin fast ice occurs. At sea belts of 
close new ice and shuga are still drifting from north 
of Marsrand to the island of Koster, but are slowly 
dissolving. 
Western and Southern Baltic 
German Coast: The inner Schlei is covered with 
10-15 cm thick ice, on the outer part there is new 
ice. In the harbours of Flensburg, Heiligenhafen, 
and Lübeck there is new ice. At Wismar there is 
10-15 cm thick open ice in the harbours and in the 
bay there is new ice in places. In Rostock the city 
port is ice free but farther out on the Unterwarnow 
5-10cm thick very close ice; new ice in places the 
sea port. The Bodden waters south of Darß and 
Zingst are covered with 5-10 cm thick ice, on the 
Zingster Strom new ice. In the inner waters north of 
Stralsund there is 10-20 cm compact ice and fast 
ice. In the port of Stralsund there is 10- 15 cm thick 
very close ice and farther out on the fairway past 
Palmer Ort about 20 cm thick fast ice with broken 
channel. In the Greifswalder Bodden there is near 
the coasts close to compact 10-20 cm thick ice, 
rafted in places and with some ridges at the fast ice 
edge in the Dänische Wiek; else very close new ice 
and ice formation occurs, more so in the west then 
in the east. Outside the Greifswalder Bodden there 
is ice near the coast in places, very open new ice is 
drifting around Greifswalder Oi. The inner Bodden 
waters, the Peenestrom south of Wolgast and 
Kleines Haff are covered with 10-20 cm thick fast 
ice. - Lithuanian Coast: In the harbour of Klaipeda 
there is close shuga and pancake ice, in the 
antrance there is open water, on the fairways there 
is open water. The Courland Lagoon is covered 
with 25-40 cm thick fast ice. - Polish Coast: In 
Szczecin Lagoon there is 10-15 cm thick fast ice; 
on the fairway Szeczecin — SwinoujScie there is very 
close, 15 cm thick broken, partly rafted ice. In the 
port of Szczecin there is close 10-15 cm thick ice, 
in the port of SwinoujScie there is 5-10 cm thick 
open ice. In the ports along the whole coast there 
Is new ice.
