Vyborgbucht ist mit 15-25 cm dickem Festeis be-
deckt, weiter außerhalb kommt im Fahrwasser
Nilas vor. Im Bjerkesund liegt Neueis. In der Luga
Bucht liegt bis zur Breite von Dubki Nilas und
\eueis. In der Copora Bucht kommt Nilas und
Neueis vor.
Schärenmeer
In den Schären kommt örtlich Neueis vor.
Bottensee
Finnische Küste: In den inneren Schären dünnes
ebenes Eis und außerhalb davon Neueis und
Neueisbildung. - Schwedische Küste: In den
nneren Buchten und kleineren Häfen nördlich von
Audiksvall kommt 5-15 cm dickes ebenes Eis vor.
Entlang der Küste südwärts bis Gävle tritt in
geschützten Buchten dünnes ebenes Eis oder
Neueis auf. Der nördliche Ängermanälv ist mit 15-
30 cm dickem Festeis bedeckt, im südlichen Teil
treibt dichtes bis lockeres, 5-10 cm dickes Eis.
Norra Kvarken
Finnische Küste: In den Schären von Vaasa liegt
5-15cm dickes ebenes Eis und außerhalb davon
\Veueis, - Schwedische Küste: In geschützten
3Zuchten und Häfen liegt 5-15 cm dickes ebenes
Eis.
Bottenvik
Finnische Küste: Die nördlichen inneren Schären
sind mit 20-40 cm dickem Festeis bedeckt.
Außerhalb der Festeisgrenze liegt, etwa bis zur
_-inie Merrikallat - Kemi 1 - Sanskeri, dichtes
Treibeis, danach offenes Wasser. In den südlichen
nneren Schären 5-20 cm dickes Eis, außerhalb
davon lockeres Eis und Neueis. - Schwedische
Küste: In den nördlichen Schären liegt 10-40cm
dickes Festeis, daran anschließend Eisbrei und
\leueis. Außerhalb davon treibt im Bereich von
_uleä über Rodkallen bis hin zu 20sm südlich von
Falkensgrund lockeres Eis. In den südlichen
Schären kommt in geschützten Buchten 10-20 cm
dickes ebenes Eis vor und dicht an der Küste tritt
Neueis auf. Auf See ansonsten eisfrel.

Sea of Bothnia

archipelago and new ice as well as new ice
formation farther out. - Swedish Coast: In the inner
bays and small harbours there is 5-15 cm thick level
ice north of Hudiksvall. Southwards along the coast
there is thin level ice or new ice in sheltered bays up
to Gävle. The northern Ängermanälv is covered with
15-30 cm thick fast ice, in the southern part close to
open, 5-10 cm thick drift ice is drifting.

water. In the southern inner archipelagos there is 5-
20 cm thick ice, farther out oen ice and new ice. -
Swedish Coast: In the northern archipelago there is
10-40 cm thick fast ice, farther off shuga and new
ice. Still farther off open ice is drifting in an area of
open ice from Luleä over Rodkallen until 20nm south
of Falkensgrund. In the southern archipelagos there
is 10-20 cm thick level ice in sheltered bays and near
to the coast there is new ice. Else at sea ice free.
Voraussichtliche Eisentwicklung
in den nächsten Tagen fließt von Westen her
nildere Luft in die Ostseeregion. Zum Wochen-
ende werden daher in den meisten Regionen die
Temperaturen steigen, obwohl die Minimaltempe-
-aturen, insbesondere in Küstennähe, unter dem
Sefrierpunkt bleiben. Die Bildung von weiterem Eis
wird sich daher, wenn auch etwas langsamer,
fortsetzen.
In der Bottenvik driftet das Eis zunächst nach
\orden um dann am Freitag wieder Richtung
Süden zu driften. Über das Wochenende kommt
der Wind dann aber wieder überwiegend aus
südlichen Richtungen, was eine Eisdrift nach

During the next days milder air from the West will
flow into the Baltic region. In most regions therefore

weekend. But minimum temperatures, especially at
land and near the coasts, will stay below freezing.
Ice formation will continue, although at a slower
pace.
In the Bay of Bothina the ice will first drift towards the
north. On Fridays the ice drift will reverse and the ice
‚nill drift southwards. Over the weekend the wind will
again come from predominantly southerly directions,
so that the ice drift will be towards the north.
