Litangen — Snekkevik sehr dichtes bis kompaktes 
Treibeis, Schifffahrt verläuft in einer Rinne ohne 
Eisbrecherunterstützung. - Schwedische Küste: - 
Vänersee: An der Nordküste liegt zwischen 
Karlstad und Kristinehamn 5-15 cm dickes Festeis. 
Weiter südlich kommt in den geschützten Buchten 
entlang der Küste dünnes ebenes Eis und Neueis 
vor. Neueis auch In Vänersborgsviken. 
Westliche Ostsee 
Deutsche Küste: Auf der inneren Schlei und im 
Hafen Wismar sind stellenweise mit 5-10cm 
dickem Eis bedeckt. Der Stadthafen Rostock und 
die Unterwarnow sind mit dünnem Eis bedeckt. Die 
Bodden südlich vom Darß und Zingst sind teilweise 
mit 5-10 cm dickem Eis bedeckt. 
Südliche Ostsee 
Deutsche Küste: In den inneren Boddenge- 
wässern und der nördlichen Einfahrt von Stralsund 
iritt Neueis sowie Neueisbildung auf. In ge- 
schützten Bereichen des Greifswalder Bodden 
kommt bis 7cm dickes Eis vor und im Fahrwasser 
zwischen Wolgast und Ruden tritt Neueis auf. Im 
Hafen Anklam und Umgebung 8 cm dickes 
Festeis. Auf dem südlichen Peenestrom und im 
leinen Haff kommt 5-10 cm dickes Eis vor. - 
Polnische Küste: Im Stettiner Haff liegt in den 
Randbereichen sehr dichtes, bis zu 10 cm dickes 
Eis. Im Fahrwasser Szczecin — Swinoujscie liegt 
übereinandergeschobenes bis 15cm dickes Eis. 
Mittlere und Nördliche Ostsee 
Schwedische Küste: - Mälarsee: Zwischen 
Köping und Kvicksund liegt 5-15 cm dickes 
Festeis. Weiter östlich bis nach Selaon und in 
geschützten Buchten kommt dünnes ebenes Eis 
oder Neueis vor. - Lettische Küste: Die Fahr- 
wasser sind eisfrei. 
Rigaischer Meerbusen 
Estnische Küste: In der Parnu Bucht liegt 5-10 
cm dickes Festeis. Im Moonsund in der 
Küstenzone Festeis und weiter außerhalb lockeres 
Eis. - Lettische Küste: Im Hafen Riga liegt unter 
5cm dickes, sehr lockeres Neueis. Weiter im 
Fahrwasser Richtung Irbenstraße sehr lockeres 
Neueis.

Coast: - Lake Vänern: At the northern coast there is 
between Karlstad and Kristinehamn 5-15 cm thick 
fast ice, farther south thin level ice or new ice occurs 
in sheltered bays and harbours along the coast. New 
ice also in Vänersborgsviken. 
Western Baltic 
German Coast: On the inner Schlei and in the port 
of Wismar there is 5-10cm thick ice in places. The 
city port of Rostock and the Unterwarnow are 
covered with thin ice. The Bodden waters south of 
Darß and Zingst are partly covered by 5-10 cm thick 
ice. 
Southern Baltic 
German Coast: In the inner Bodden waters as well 
as in the northern approach to Stralsund there is new 
ice and new ice formation. In sheltered areas of the 
Greifswalder Bodden there is up to 7cm thick ice and 
the on the fairway from Wolgast to Ruden new ice 
accurs., In the port of Anklam and surroundings there 
is 8 cm thick fast ice. On the southern Peenestrom 
and in Kleinen Haff there is 5-10 cm thick ice. - 
Polish Coast: In Stettiner Haff there is very close up 
to 10 cm thick ice in the coastal areas, on the fairway 
Szczecin — Swinoujscie rafted ice, up to 15 cm thick, 
ICcuUrS. 
Central and Northern Baltic 
Swedish coast: - Lake Mälaren: In the western part 
Detween Köping and Kvicksund there is 5-15 cm 
thick fast ice. Farther eastward up to Selaon as well 
as in sheltered bays there is thin level ice or new ice. 
- Latvian Coast: The fairways are ice free. 
Gulf of Riga 
Estonian Coast: In Parnu Bay there is 5-10 cm thick 
fast ice. In Moonsund there is fast ice in the coastal 
zone and open ice farther out. - Latvian Coast: In 
Ihe port of Riga there is very open, less then 5cm 
thick new ice. Farther off on the fairway to Irben 
Strait there is very open new ice. 
Finnischer Meerbusen 
Estnische Küste: In der Narva und Kundabucht 
kommt Neueis vor. - Finnische Küste: In den 
ınneren Schären liegt dünnes Eis, außerhalb 
davon Neueis und Neueisbildung. Saimaasee: Der 
zentrale Bereich ist stellenweise offen, ansonsten 
5-20 cm dickes Eis, auch im Saimaa Kanal. - 
Russische Küste: In den Häfen von St. 
Petersburg kommt zusammengeschobenes 10-20 
cm dickes Eis vor. Im Fahrwasser weiter westwärts 
liegt bis zu Ostspitze Kotlin 10-20 cm dickes 
Festeis, bis zur Westspitze dann lockeres Eis, 
Gulf of Finland 
Estonian Coast: In the Bay of Narva and the Bay of 
Kunda new ice occurs. - Finnish Coast: There is 
thin ice in the inner archipelago and new ice as well 
as new ice formation farther out. Lake Saimaa: The 
central part of Lake Saimaa is partly open, elsewhere 
and in the Saimaa Canal there is 5-20 cm thick ice. - 
Russian Coast: In the harbours of St. Petersburg 
Ihere is compact 10-20 cm thick ice. Farther 
nestwards on the fairway up to the eastern point of the 
island Kotlin there is 10-20 cm thick fast ice, then there 
is open ice until the western point of Kotlin. From there
