Neueis auf. Die Bodden südlich vom Darß und 
Zingst sind teilweise mit 5-10 cm dickem Eis 
bedeckt. 
Südliche Ostsee 
Deutsche Küste: Die inneren Boddengewässer 
sind zum Teil bis zu 5 cm dickem Eis bedeckt. Auf 
dem südlichen Peenestrom und im Kleinen Haff 
kommt 5-10 cm dickes Eis vor. Im Hafen von 
Stralsund Neueis sowie Neuveisbildung. - 
Polnische Küste: Im Stettiner Haff liegt in den 
Randbereichen sehr dichtes bis zu 5 cm dickes 
Eis, im Fahrwasser Szczecin — Swinoujscie 
kommt örtlich zusammengeschobenes bis zu 15 
cm dickes Eis vor. 
Mittlere und Nördliche Ostsee 
Schwedische Küste: - Mälarsee: Zwischen 
Köping und Kvicksund liegt 5-20 cm dickes 
Festeis. Weiter östlich bis nach Selaon und in 
geschützten Buchten kommt dünnes ebenes Eis 
oder Neueis vor. - Lettische Küste: Der Hafen 
von Ventspils ist eisfrei. 
Rigaischer Meerbusen 
Estnische Küste: In der Parnu Bucht liegt 5-10 
cm dickes Festeis. Im Moonsund in der 
Küstenzone dünnes Festeis und weiter außerhalb 
treiben Streifen mit lockerem und sehr lockerem 
\eueis. An der Südküste von Saaremaa kommt 
Pfannkucheneis und Trümmereis vor. - Lettische 
Küste: Im Hafen Riga kommt sehr lockeres 
Neueis sowie Eishaut vor. Weiter im Fahrwasser 
Richtung Irbenstraße sehr lockeres Neueis. 
Finnischer Meerbusen 
Estnische Küste: Entlang der Küste und in der 
Narvabucht kommt örtlich Neueis vor. Entlang der 
«üste der Kunda Bucht tritt Pfannkucheneis auf. - 
Finnische Küste: In den inneren Schären liegt 
dünnes Eis, außerhalb davon MNeueis und 
\eueisbildung. Saimaasee: Der zentrale Bereich 
st stellenweise offen, ansonsten 5-20 cm dickes 
Eis, auch im Saimaa Kanal. - Russische Küste: 
in den Häfen von St. Petersburg kommt 
zusammengeschobenes 10-20 cm dickes Eis vor. 
Weiter westwärts bis zu Kotlin tritt im Fahrwasser 
10-20 cm dickes Festeis, dann bis zur Länge vom 
Leuchtturm Sepelevskij 5-10 cm dicker Nilas, 
dann bis Kap Ustinskij Neueis auf. - Die 
Vyborgbucht ist mit 12-22 cm dickem Festeis 
bedeckt, weiter außerhalb kommt im Fahrwasser 
Neueis vor. In der Luga Bucht kommt an der 
Küste dunkler Nilas vor. 
Bottensee 
Finnische Küste: In den inneren Schären 
dünnes Eis, außerhalb davon Neueis und Neueis- 
bildung. - Schwedische Küste: In den inneren 
Buchten und kleineren Häfen nördlich von 
Hudiksvall kommt 5-15 em diekes ebenes Eis vor.

Bodden waters south of Darß and Zingst are partly 
covered by 5-10 cm thick ice. 
Southern Baltic 
German Coast: The inner Bodden waters are partly 
sovered with up to 5 cm thick ice. On the southern 
Peenestrom and in Kleinen Haff there is 5-10 cm thick 
ice. In the port of Stralsund there is new ice and new 
ice formation. - Polish Coast: In Stettiner Haff there 
is very close up to 5 cm thick ice in the coastal areas, 
on the fairway Szczecin — Swinoujscie compact up to 
15 cm thick ice occurs in places. 
Central and Northern Baltic 
Swedish coast: - Lake Mälaren: In the western part 
between Köping and Kvicksund there is 5-20 cm thick 
fast ice. Farther eastward up to Selaon as well as in 
sheltered bays there is thin level ice or new ice, - 
Latvian Coast: The port of Ventspils is ice free. 
Gulf of Riga 
Estonian Coast: In Parnu Bay there is 5-10 cm thick 
fast ice. In Moonsund thin fast ice in the coastal zone 
and farther out stripes of open and very open new ice 
are drifting. Along the south coast of Saaremaa there 
is brash ice and pancake ice. - Latvian Coast: In the 
port of Riga there is very open new ice and ice rind. 
Farther off on the fairway to Irben Strait there is very 
open new ice. 
Gulf of Finland 
Estonian Coast: Along the coast and in the Bay of 
Narva new ice occurs in places. in the Kunda Bay 
there is pancake ice near the coast. - Finnish Coast: 
There is thin ice in the inner archipelago and new ice 
as well as new ice formation farther out. Lake 
Saimaa: The central part of Lake Saimaa is partly open, 
elsewhere and in the Saimaa Canal there is 5-20 cm 
thick ice. - Russian Coast: In the harbours of St. 
Petersburg there is compact 10-20 cm thick ice. Farther 
westwards on the fairway up to island Kotlin there is 10- 
20 cm thick fast ice, then to the longitude of lighthouse 
Sepelevskij 5-10 cm thick nilas, then to the longitude of 
Cape Ustinskij new ice. - The Vyborg Bay is covered 
with 12-22 cm thick fast ice, farther out on the fairway 
there is new ice. In the Luga Bay there is dark nilas 
along the coast. 
Sea of Bothnia 
Finnish Coast: Thin ice in the inner archipelago and 
new ice as well as new ice formation farther out. - 
Swedish Coast: In the inner bays and small harbours 
there is 5-15 cm thick level ice north of Hudiksvall.
