Übersicht 
Jber das Wochenende wurde das zunehmend 
mnorsch werdende Eis etwas nach Norden getrieben. 
Dies führte zu einem etwas kompakteren südlichen 
Eisrand. 
Die Schifffahrtsbeschränkungen zu Haraholmen und 
Skelleftehamn wurden aufgehoben. 
Saimaasee: Im Nordteil kommt örtlich morsches Eis 
vor, sonst eisfrei. 
Bottenvik 
Finnische Küste: In den nördlichen Schären liegt 
40-70 cm dickes, morsch werdendes Festeis. 
Anschließend kommt bis zur Linie Farstugrunden — 
\ahkiainen überwiegend stark aufgepresstes 20-50 
cm dickes und sehr dichtes, im Osten nah an der 
innischen Küste aber auch nur lockeres bis sehr 
ockeres, Eis vor. Der südliche Eisrand ist 
Iberwiegend kompakt. Südlich davon tritt offenes 
Wasser auf. - Schwedische Küste: Die nördlichen 
Schären sind mit 20-60 cm dickem, morsch 
werdenden Festeis bedeckt, in dem auch Stellen mit 
offenem Wasser vorkommen. Auf See liegt bis 
Farstugrunden dichtes bis sehr dichtes Eis, südlich 
davon kommt offenes Wasser vor. 
Voraussichtliche Eisentwicklung 
In den nächsten Tagen kommt in der Bottenvik der 
neist schwache Wind aus nördlichen bis nord- 
westlichen Richtungen und die Tageshöchsttempe- 
-aturen erreichen Werte über 10°C. Die südliche 
Eisdrift wird das Eis etwas auflockern und insgesamt 
wird das Eis zunehmend morsch und der Eis- 
rückgang setzt sich weiter fort.

Overview 
Over the weekend the ice rottening continued and 
the ice drifted a little bit northwards. This lead to a 
more compact southerly ice edge. 
Traffic restrictions were cancelled for the Swedish 
ports of Haraholmen and Skelleftehamn. 
Lake Saimaa: In the northern part there is rotten 
ice in places, else ice-free. 
Bay of Bothnia 
Finnish Coast: In the northern archipelagos there 
is 40-70 cm thick, rottening fast ice. Farther out 
there is mostly very close and heavily ridged 20-50 
cm thick ice, but in the east near the coast also 
open to very open ice, up to about the line 
Farstugrunden — Nahkiainen. The southern ice 
edge is mostly compact. Farther south there is 
open water. - Swedish Coast: The northern 
archipelagos are covered with 20-60 cm thick 
rottening fast ice in which areas of open water are 
present. At sea there is close to very close ice up 
to Farstugrunden. South of there open water 
Ooccurs. 
Expected Ice Development 
During the few next days the mostly weak wind in 
the Bay of Bothnia will blow out of northerly to 
north-westerly directions and the daily maximum 
temperature will reach over 10°C. The southerly ice 
drift will loosen up the ice field and the ice will 
continue to rotten and the ice retreat will continue.
