Übersicht 
Das Eis in der Bottenvik trieb überwiegend 
westwärts, außerhalb des Festeises an der 
innischen Küste entstanden kleine Rinnen und 
Zrüche. 
Overview 
The ice in the Bay of Bothnia has mostly drifted 
westwards. Off the fast ice on the Finnish coast 
small leads and fractures have formed. 
. Mit Wirkung vom heutigen Datum wurden die 
Schifffahrtsbeschränkungen für die schwedischen 
äfen in der Bottenvik herabgesetzt. 
Saimaasee: im Nordteil kommt 10-35 cm dickes 
morsches Eis vor, sonst eisfrei. 
- Valid from today, the restrictions to navigation for 
Ihe Swedish harbours in the Bay of Bothnia have 
been reduced. 
Lake Saimaa: In the northern part there is 10-35 
cm thick rotten ice, else ice-free. 
Norra Kvarken 
Finnische Küste: Offenes Wasser. 
Bottenvik 
Finnische Küste: In den nördlichen Schären liegt 
40-70 cm dickes, morsch werdendes Festeis. 
Anschließend kommt bis etwa zur Linie 
Falkensgrund — Ulkokalla sehr dichtes und stark 
aufgepresstes 20-50 cm dickes Eis vor. Südlich 
davon tritt offenes Wasser auf. In den südlichen 
Schären treibt örtlich morsches Eis, sonst eisfrei. - 
Schwedische Küste: Die nördlichen Schären sind 
mit 20-60 cm dickem, morsch werdenden Festeis 
bedeckt. Auf See liegt im Nordosten sehr dichtes 
Jnd aufgepresstes 20-50 cm dickes Eis. Die 
Eisgrenze verläuft etwa auf der Linie Farstugrunden 
- Ulkokalla. Südlich davon kommt überwiegend 
offenes Wasser vor, aber in der Skellefteäa Bucht 
treiben in der Küstennähe große Eisschollen.

Finnish Coast: In the northern archipelagos there 
is 40-70 cm thick, rottening fast ice. Farther out 
‘here is very close and heavily ridged 20-50 cm 
'hick ice up to approximately the line Falkensgrund 
- Ulkokalla. Farther southwards open water occurs. 
n the southern archipelagos rotten ice is drifting in 
places, else ice-free. - Swedish Coast: The 
northern archipelagos are covered with 20-60 cm 
"hick rottening fast ice. At sea there is in the 
northeastern part mostly very close and ridged 20- 
50 cm thick ice. The ice edge runs approximately 
along the line Farstugrunden — Ulkokalla. South of 
‘his line open water occurs, but in the Bight of 
Skellefteäa large ice floes are drifting near the 
coast.
